Manager Communication:
Busy Monday action as always. Opened up with Rebecca. Down a few servers. Getting it done though. Pacing in theaters is working out well. Runners that are here making it happen after a cohesive pre-shift from RB.-LB
BAR Staff Observations:
Special Events?
[adult swim] private event in theater 4 had a big crowd that hung out in trees long after their movie let out. Night of the Living dead followed suit. Nice and busy monday at Trees. - IP
Prep List:
We have the batches from Newfest to use for Trivia tomorrow. The only other product we have are two Culch vodka bottles that were in the well and two Henry Varnay Sparkling bottles I found on the ground at the end of the bar at Trees. I don't know if they are planning to pick up their beer. The portrait of a lady on fire has been run into spillage.-LB
I called Coke and was on hold for 35 minutes. They told me that our open request that I entered last Tuesday was put on hold, then they put me on hold to find out why. I put in a new request identifying my irritation with this situation that we just want to be able to continue to sell their products seamlessly, so maybe sometime soon they will care to call us back.-LB
Customer Comments:
It would be great if we could get some more noticeable NO SMOKING signage out front to ward off the myriad guests who LOVE to stand directly in the doorway and smoke cigarettes/weed - the smell permeates the entirety of the lobby and service hallway to theaters 1 and 2 - either that or if we could have our security presence be a little more on top of it. Today it smelled like a teen was being punished by smoking an entire pack of cigarettes in the service stairwell. - ip
BAR Staff Observations:
Service for the first round was really smooth. Kept it paced well for the amount of hands we had. -LB
Got Intel from Knibbs and his orthopedic doctor. He is out for two weeks. I asked him to send me his doctor's note and I forwarded it along. I will work on covering his affected shifts. Will have updates on that tomorrow. -LB
Greg and Lydia pulled long ones today when the Adult Swim crowd and Morricone Youth crowd both converged on Trees around 9 - great work all around. Tevon held down lobby and Patrick closed trees without issue. - IP
