Friday 10/2 Gus/Jenn/Ian
Manager Communication:
Got a ton of stuff done in the AM. When we opened every bar had all the things they needed. We had menus ready to go. Good times.
BAR Staff Observations:
Jeshua, Knibbs and Nat crushed a busy Friday night. Jeshua seems to be a little more frazzled with the handhelds - likely due to the extremely small font size. Just something to bear in mind when we're working with him. Gab had a busy night in the lobby too - took care of business like she always does. - IP
86ed / counts on items:
Wyatt out sick so it was just James and I after Gus, Rebecca and Jared left - and suffice it to say, we crushed. The team in general is soldiering on through the stress and frustration of navigating and getting used to the new system, and everyone put in very good work tonight. - IP

The early leader for "favorite new drink" is without a doubt the Pineapple Express. Big ups, Darius!! - IP

On the lobby close, the recorded cash sales were $56 (so, $356 total), but the cash drawer closeout screen on the POS said the expected cash was $337.50ish The drawer was perfect - had $356 exactly. We entered the $356 on the cash drawer checkout screen, and I acknowledged the overage of $18.50ish with my manager pin.
When we went to do the Shift review, it said that the house was owed $18.50ish. I am unsure why only some of the cash sales were accounted for, but between the $37.50 in expected cash and the $18.50 owed, that becomes the expected cash sales of $56. TLDR: the money in the drawer was correct, but the logging of the cash sales in the system were somehow misallocated. - IP

Empire isn't coming till Monday.

Maintenance:
Cider line continued to misbehave all night. Didn't have to 86 at any point, but was back and forth to the walk-in with some frequency. Should have a tech look at it (unless we hook up a new keg when we get one and the issue resolves itself, in which case it was the keg's pressurization or something) - Amity line calmed down and started pouring normally - must've just been a quirk of the keg. - IP
Toast Issues:
Toast Issues:
Concerning the over/under situation: The money was correct, but the input in the system remains somewhat of a mystery - if we could get a rundown on what this issue could be and how to avoid it, that would be great - thanks! - IP
