Opened up with Jared. We had some server callouts, but everyone is ready to rock. Raekwon handling a private event in theater 7 - shout out to their host who was great about helping to direct people in the lobby. - IP

Matt opening Trees and Sam opening lobby. Glad to have thorough openers on. - IP

FOH Staff Observations: Everyone was out there working very hard today. Thursdae was really excellent and so was Brian. -GS

Prep List: Jenn- I made a keg of GF Soda. It is connected to the CO2 line, but not charged. If you could charge it that would be really dope. If we do happen to go into the keg on Sunday, please note if you notice any difference in the carbonation and overall feel of the drink. I juiced all of the peeled grapefruits we had in house and used the spizal to clarify the juice. It didn't work as well as I had hoped, but it did work- so if the result is noticeable, I'm very intrigued. -GS

Pay Outs:
We have to do a $375 payout from the Trees drawer for the plumber (the money was taken from the cashbox this morning) - however, Toast will not let me do a payout for more money than is logged in the bank ($300). Unsure how to proceed but noting here for reference. - IP

I did the payout. Money looked good. Definitely not ideal and if we keep working with Mauricio the Plumber we will need to figure out another method of payment. -GS

I ordered some water from Baldor- we are kinda low and Nathan Fielder's people love to be hydrated. -GS

Maintenance: Fixed the drain in lobby

Toast Issues: We 86'd Ketle, and then probably an hour or so later, it popped up on the kitchen board. Chef Matty called it in. Didn't happen again, but very curious. -GS

Manager Communication: Solid Open Lots of forward motion toward menu change and such. Looking good.  If it is at ALL possible to have it say THEATER 1 and THEATER 2 at the top of the ticket the way it does on the kitchen tickets that would be extremely helpful. This is a service issue at TREES for sure during busy times. It will lead to mistakes.  There are also lots of handhelds still printing multiples ie. 2 lemonades vs lemonade lemonade. It seems across the building and across menu. So I think a fine eye to just make sure that is all worked out or things may get missed. The non-consistent nature of it, will in fact lead to mistakes.  The handhelds at Trees are also difficult to use without any color differentiation in the BAR COCKTAILS CATEGORY. If you could take the notes from the people doing the serving it would be super helpful for us. We are a little older and we are using tiny little machines that slow us down. Saturday 10.17.26

Manager Communication: Saturday mornings. Classic. Rebecca & I rocked it out -G It got really cold tonight in the mid-40s. I turned on the entry way heaters because Christine asked me to since Jeshua was cold. The exit doors were fine, did not smell, but the entryway doors were very rank so I turned them off. Probably a vacuum would be enough. But smelled like a hairdryer full of dead pine needles. I broke out the space heaters for lobby bar.-LB The spotify iPad at Trees is not connected to the internet now, if that could be addressed. Only downloaded playlists are working-LB Customer Comments: Had a bday party for a 1 year old. Matthew handled like a champ. There were a lot of them. Filled the place up early- was great. Friday 10.16.2026 Ian & AB2 / NPP Bar Blog

Manager Communication: Battening down the hatches for the Nathan Fielder Doc. Not ideal to be down a bartender, but if you're going to have three bodies at Trees, the ones you want are Tevon, Matthew and Natasha. Weather is also gross today, so we can expect the smaller theaters to grow. Gonna be a busy one. - IP Holy cow the drink rushes for back to back sold out 1/2 showings really just go on and on and on... The 1/2 rush for the dinner round lasted 90+ minutes - non-stop tickets the whole time. Bar team was INCREDIBLE. Ariel jumped right into service and helped knockout the last half hour or so of the rush - absolutely clutch. - IP We was nice and poppin' homies. The You Can See Everything doc has people drinking nonstop... which is fresh. We were busy but I was still able to cut Matthew and Tevon before 10:00 PM (Keepin' em under 9 hours) and I rocked out some of the late rush in Tree's. - AB2 I am a fan of the metal bars in Tree's for servers to write table nu...
