Manager Communication: 
I ordered a new baffle for the lobby ice machine from Webstaurant, keep your eyes peeled for this one. The one in lobby bar looks like a tiny Kool Aid man busted out of it. -LB

I spray painted the A frame today, so I can rewrite it on Friday to be less Summer movie quotes. I am leaving it to dry in the liquor room.-LB 

Had a bit of a pop at Trees with the pre-screening crowd for Zoolander, but it was pretty sleepy at the bar after that. JH

BAR Staff Observations: 
Danny and Sam super smooth open. -LB 

Sam got out of here once Jeshua all set down at lobby, and Danny stuck around until the Zoolander crowd had gotten through their first service push.  Gabrielle + Jeshua closed each bar without issue. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Reminder for opening bartenders to put the $10 of quarters in the bank in to the drawer when opening.  More info under Over/Short on Banks below, but it caused some confusion during Lobby's close tonight. JH

Prep List: 
Do Not Batch list is looking good, and the walk in is pretty stocked up on summer cocktails to get us through another weekend.  Will definitely need to make 50 Year Storm before the weekend. JH

Over/Short on Banks:
Jeshua was a bit flustered thinking that his bank was $10.00 short when closing, but it turned out Sam had never taken the quarters out of the bank.  Once they were found, Jeshua was doing his closeout and accidentally hit $0.00 for drawer amount, instead of the expected $326.13.  I did some google-ing and tried to fix the issue on the backend, but did not have permission on Toast to delete the incorrect amount.  I walked James through what had happened, so he is aware of what discrepancies this may cause when he is doing the end of day cash math. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  
US foods came in.-LB

Pretty hefty Baldor order coming in tomorrow on the hopes that this weekend will be on the busier side with the new movies and the forecast of rain.-LB

Maintenance: 
I forgot to write this the other day. The cords in the white boxes on the service pass side of Trees cut some servers. I tried to close them and they broke more. I taped them with Cfolds where they are super broken so as to not harm anyone further.-LB

Ian gave it more than a graduate's degree try to fix the frozen machines, but we need a PhD.-LB

A new GF Soda keg was hooked up during, I do not know exactly when it was changed.  Unfortunately, the keg was not carbonated.  I will charge it tomorrow when I get in and will run the line empty so I can add the product back to the keg before charging. JH

Manager Communication:  Th1/2/3 were pretty much sold out for the day, with Wicked doing really well and Bugonia / Frankenstein taking up the smaller theaters.  Definitely a lot more kids coming through for Wicked this time, just as a heads up.  Sentimental Value is also selling out the smaller theaters, too.  Trees also had a group of runners (probably between 10-12 folks) hang out for drinks and brunch post-run.  A couple of more groups came through throughout the day and kept Trees happily busy during the early rounds. JH If we can change the temp on Trees lounge to 70 for this busy stretch, it gets really hot back there when they don't stop moving. -LB Wowie. everyone busting their butts today and I blame L. Frank Baum.  If we didn't switch to the plastic soda cups, we would have drowned today. Made it optimal. I think we need more empty grey racks, they were thin in circulation for the last round. Manager Communication:  Holiday level business keeps coming, we had a very busy day overall at the bar. Movies kept service bar going strong through 9 pm and then the bar stayed crowded with a group of people watching the Golden Globes. No issues with getting overly busy, however, as the push to service bar died right as the awards show started and a crowd grew at the bar. We were able to get all duties done tonight; batching, cleaning projects and strong service. The 4 pm rush was very heavy in particular, with Theatres 1, 4 and 6 very tightly seated but we never ran overlong on timing. Customer Comments:  We had a guest come to the bar around 4:30 to complain about some late food, which was dropped by a manager. Julie had a flag that she forget to ring until right before check drop and the guests complained about the wait, but were happy with our resolution of some passes and goodwill discounts on the check. Manager Communication: Opened with Gil. Definitely the second to last Sunday in August type ticket sales to start the day - change of pace from the big Spidyssey weekends. Lovely weather outside with a chance of showers briefly - will hopefully bring some people in from the park. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Nat opening Trees, Greg opening Lobby. - IP.  Pretty smooth sailing through the dinner round.  Everyone grabbed family meal and got breaks, and Danny stuck around for both bars to get a post-dinner restock in.  The last round was pretty mellow saleswise, so both bars had ample time to get started on a deep clean pre-close to end the weekend.  Jeshua got out of here shortly after I rerouted lobby, and both Duan + Tevon closed each bar without issue.
