Manager Communication:
Gus went to town with the Spinzall and other preparatory measures for the forthcoming menu change. The clarified ginger whiskey is gonna slap. - IP
Gotham Shorts had a good afterparty crowd for the first block of shorts. Other than that and a well sold dinner round, it was a relatively chill night. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Gotham Shorts had a thirsty crowd after the first bloc. Lydia stuck around to help with the theater rush and Tevon and Darius handled the after-screening drinkers easily. Greg cruised through lobby. - IP

Prep List:
After the bars went to bed I got a jump on some menu change stuff - made batches of How to Train Your Dragon, Pineapple Express and ORANGE MOCHA FRAP - but couldn't find enough Creme de Cacao, so the batch is labeled "NEEDS 12oz CREME DE CACAO". Tomorrow we'll need to make more demerara and then an OF keg. - IP

Over/Short on Banks:
Lobby bar was "over" $19.60, but then when we did the shift review it said "pay $19.60 to house" - Greg followed the protocol on the printout but it wouldn't allow him to continue his close without a manager number. Will chat with bar team about this. Problem didn't occur in Trees to my knowledge. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
We'll need to order Creme de Cacao if we dont have any on the way. - IP

Friday 9/25/26 Gus/Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication: Solid Open Lots of forward motion toward menu change and such. Looking good.  If it is at ALL possible to have it say THEATER 1 and THEATER 2 at the top of the ticket the way it does on the kitchen tickets that would be extremely helpful. This is a service issue at TREES for sure during busy times. It will lead to mistakes.  There are also lots of handhelds still printing multiples ie. 2 lemonades vs lemonade lemonade. It seems across the building and across menu. So I think a fine eye to just make sure that is all worked out or things may get missed. The non-consistent nature of it, will in fact lead to mistakes.  The handhelds at Trees are also difficult to use without any color differentiation in the BAR COCKTAILS CATEGORY. If you could take the notes from the people doing the serving it would be super helpful for us. We are a little older and we are using tiny little machines that slow us down. If we could sit down and make some choices Gil to j...

Saturday 11.22.25 Wicked Day 3 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Th1/2/3 were pretty much sold out for the day, with Wicked doing really well and Bugonia / Frankenstein taking up the smaller theaters.  Definitely a lot more kids coming through for Wicked this time, just as a heads up.  Sentimental Value is also selling out the smaller theaters, too.  Trees also had a group of runners (probably between 10-12 folks) hang out for drinks and brunch post-run.  A couple of more groups came through throughout the day and kept Trees happily busy during the early rounds. JH If we can change the temp on Trees lounge to 70 for this busy stretch, it gets really hot back there when they don't stop moving. -LB Wowie. everyone busting their butts today and I blame L. Frank Baum.  If we didn't switch to the plastic soda cups, we would have drowned today. Made it optimal. I think we need more empty grey racks, they were thin in circulation for the last round. I don't know which ones to get. If someone can weig...

Sunday 08.23.2026 Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Opened with Gil. Definitely the second to last Sunday in August type ticket sales to start the day - change of pace from the big Spidyssey weekends. Lovely weather outside with a chance of showers briefly - will hopefully bring some people in from the park. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Nat opening Trees, Greg opening Lobby. - IP.  Pretty smooth sailing through the dinner round.  Everyone grabbed family meal and got breaks, and Danny stuck around for both bars to get a post-dinner restock in.  The last round was pretty mellow saleswise, so both bars had ample time to get started on a deep clean pre-close to end the weekend.  Jeshua got out of here shortly after I rerouted lobby, and both Duan + Tevon closed each bar without issue. JH Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Combating fruit flies - Natasha mentioned seeing a concerning amount upon opening this morning. Let's communicate to bar staff that they need to be extra fastidious nearing the end of ...
