Manager Communication:
Got Lobby machines cleaned this morning. The FroCo chamber in Trees on the OTHER side is now acting up, so I will replace the temperature gauge ASAP - it will just be a little more invasive as I'll have to move the whole unit from the back bar to have space to work on it. I also replaced the broken nozzle on the sprayer in the dishpit at Trees. - IP

The folks at NuCo FINALLY dropped off and installed our new N2 generator! It's sleek and smaller than the old one - I already have it labeled to make sure to not place anything on top of it. - IP

Still waiting on Coca Cola to come by and take a look at the soda guns in the lobby. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Danny and Gab opened up. - IP

Easygoing night, which meant I was able to get both Danny + Gabrielle out of here on the earlier side.  Jeshua + Matthew crushed solo service and closed each bar without issue. JH

Special Events?
ST&B.  This crowd showed up thirsty for MILK.  They went through twenty whole milk cartons and sixteen oat milks.  I have more oat milk arriving in the morning, so we will definitely be good to go for the weekend.  They did take their garbage out of the theater after the porters had come through, so myself and Wyatt took it out when leaving. JH

Runners did not bring down the sani-bucket + dirty rags from DW2 this evening. JH

Strained the GF Oleo. - IP 

Ian used the last 2.5gal Coke to make us 5 FroCos.  Gus and I will make the call during the Saturday switchover if we want to dive into one of the 5gal Cokes to batch more FroCo, since this weekend is looking pretty mellow saleswise.  I got us up to count on Lemonades and left Matthew a batch list. JH

R&D comp checks:
Gus and I did a little brainstorming for a Woodsy cocktail that could suit the Brad Pitt Dog movie or Hope when they come out. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
We received Sarene & Manhattan

Baldor arriving tomorrow. JH

Maintenance:

Manager Communication:  Th1/2/3 were pretty much sold out for the day, with Wicked doing really well and Bugonia / Frankenstein taking up the smaller theaters.  Definitely a lot more kids coming through for Wicked this time, just as a heads up.  Sentimental Value is also selling out the smaller theaters, too.  Trees also had a group of runners (probably between 10-12 folks) hang out for drinks and brunch post-run.  A couple of more groups came through throughout the day and kept Trees happily busy during the early rounds. JH If we can change the temp on Trees lounge to 70 for this busy stretch, it gets really hot back there when they don't stop moving. -LB Wowie. everyone busting their butts today and I blame L. Frank Baum.  If we didn't switch to the plastic soda cups, we would have drowned today. Made it optimal. I think we need more empty grey racks, they were thin in circulation for the last round. Manager Communication:  Holiday level business keeps coming, we had a very busy day overall at the bar. Movies kept service bar going strong through 9 pm and then the bar stayed crowded with a group of people watching the Golden Globes. No issues with getting overly busy, however, as the push to service bar died right as the awards show started and a crowd grew at the bar. We were able to get all duties done tonight; batching, cleaning projects and strong service. The 4 pm rush was very heavy in particular, with Theatres 1, 4 and 6 very tightly seated but we never ran overlong on timing. Customer Comments:  We had a guest come to the bar around 4:30 to complain about some late food, which was dropped by a manager. Julie had a flag that she forget to ring until right before check drop and the guests complained about the wait, but were happy with our resolution of some passes and goodwill discounts on the check. Manager Communication: Opened with Gil. Definitely the second to last Sunday in August type ticket sales to start the day - change of pace from the big Spidyssey weekends. Lovely weather outside with a chance of showers briefly - will hopefully bring some people in from the park. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Nat opening Trees, Greg opening Lobby. - IP.  Pretty smooth sailing through the dinner round.  Everyone grabbed family meal and got breaks, and Danny stuck around for both bars to get a post-dinner restock in.  The last round was pretty mellow saleswise, so both bars had ample time to get started on a deep clean pre-close to end the weekend.  Jeshua got out of here shortly after I rerouted lobby, and both Duan + Tevon closed each bar without issue.
