Manager Communication:
Solid busy shift but not too busy. I decided to keep Natasha on tonight. I figured I would be called into a lot of theaters so I wanted a strong lead in Trees to close the bar tonight. - AB2

Customer Comments:
Lots of customer confusion here with tabs on the phone and opening tabs. I think a lot of guests are unsure about things and are just confused by our service in general. I did not have too many issues. Most were pretty quickly and easily resolved. - AB2

FOH Staff Observations:
Lots of simple staff errors. Not too bad but I think it was more due to staff not knowing a few simple things. I think the difference between colors with hold, sent, and running items was a big thing. I told all the peeps I could and Rebecca went and told a bunch of members of staff as well. I think simple things like this are the main reason for issues. I think some pictures of screens and steps would be helpful for servers. Also a quick run down of things when they clock in if it's their first shift with Toast. - AB2

Prep List: 
Matthew got through a pretty hefty prep list this morning.  I had him hold off on making more FroCo + Midnight Margs based on how much we already had in-house.  Spoke with Ariel about stock levels, and will catch us up on anything we may need tomorrow morning. JH

I double batched the Schedule A. It was flying tonight. 
I poured the Grapefruit soda into the keg Jenn. Just needs to be charged in the AM. - AB2

Pay Outs:

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
US Foods arrived. JH

Itty Bitty Baldor order arriving tomorrow morning. JH

Toast Issues: 
  • Pay Outs need more options to select from.  I placed the Lyft pay out under 'Miscellaneous,' as we do not have a 'Travel' option yet.  JH

Saturday 11.22.25 Wicked Day 3 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Th1/2/3 were pretty much sold out for the day, with Wicked doing really well and Bugonia / Frankenstein taking up the smaller theaters.  Definitely a lot more kids coming through for Wicked this time, just as a heads up.  Sentimental Value is also selling out the smaller theaters, too.  Trees also had a group of runners (probably between 10-12 folks) hang out for drinks and brunch post-run.  A couple of more groups came through throughout the day and kept Trees happily busy during the early rounds. JH If we can change the temp on Trees lounge to 70 for this busy stretch, it gets really hot back there when they don't stop moving. -LB Wowie. everyone busting their butts today and I blame L. Frank Baum.  If we didn't switch to the plastic soda cups, we would have drowned today. Made it optimal. I think we need more empty grey racks, they were thin in circulation for the last round. Manager Communication:  Holiday level business keeps coming, we had a very busy day overall at the bar. Movies kept service bar going strong through 9 pm and then the bar stayed crowded with a group of people watching the Golden Globes. No issues with getting overly busy, however, as the push to service bar died right as the awards show started and a crowd grew at the bar. We were able to get all duties done tonight; batching, cleaning projects and strong service. The 4 pm rush was very heavy in particular, with Theatres 1, 4 and 6 very tightly seated but we never ran overlong on timing. Customer Comments:  We had a guest come to the bar around 4:30 to complain about some late food, which was dropped by a manager. Julie had a flag that she forget to ring until right before check drop and the guests complained about the wait, but were happy with our resolution of some passes and goodwill discounts on the check. Manager Communication: Opened with Gil. Definitely the second to last Sunday in August type ticket sales to start the day - change of pace from the big Spidyssey weekends. Lovely weather outside with a chance of showers briefly - will hopefully bring some people in from the park. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Nat opening Trees, Greg opening Lobby. - IP.  Pretty smooth sailing through the dinner round.  Everyone grabbed family meal and got breaks, and Danny stuck around for both bars to get a post-dinner restock in.  The last round was pretty mellow saleswise, so both bars had ample time to get started on a deep clean pre-close to end the weekend.  Jeshua got out of here shortly after I rerouted lobby, and both Duan + Tevon closed each bar without issue.
