Tuesday 5/26/26 Lauren/Gus/Ian



Manager Communication: 
I broke out the last case of pint glasses for Trees lounge. I also cleaned all the printers at lobby bar before doors.-LB
I put in another service ticket with Coke for the leaking syrup at Trees 37909472-LB

Comparatively easy night here after this past weekend! Everyone was up to the task. Tevon and Duan were awesome in Trees and Lydia rocked the lobby solo. Becca and Jared kept the theaters in check and we rolled right along to the finish line.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for the Coke tech tomorrow. Going to do the mid-week clean and batch as per usual and Gus and I might try to take a deeper look at the lowboy doors - also going to do some GF Soda R&D tomorrow. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Lydia did a really wonderful job in the lobby tonight. Was very gracious about sticking through the end of a drink rush in some sold out last round theaters. Tevon and Duan are rockstars. Duan is such a good bartender - always paying attention and never misses a beat. - IP

Special Events?
M:I:2 - not a massive turnout, but lots of familiar faces. - IP

Prep List:
Gonna make a whole bunch of stuff tomorrow after machine maintenance. Aside from that, I made a quick double batch of The Child. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
To Rise came. 
I ordered 3 cases pints, 2 cases shot glasses, 2 cases trays, 2 cases water cups, 1 case soda cups from Webstaurant, they can all go right into the beast as back ups. -LB
US foods coming tomorrow.  Harney and Sons ordered with our new non-caff tea-LB
Baldor coming tomorrow.-LB
 
Maintenance:
Gus figured out that we could make some more space at the bottom of the lowboy doors on the far side of Trees lounge, and when we got the middle door back on the track it fixed itself (aside from the rubber gasket which needs replacing, but that's no biggie)! The lowboy closer to the service well on the other hand is still sticky and annoying. We're gonna look into it tomorrow. - IP

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication :  Pretty good steady morning which ramped up when the spider hit the big ones. EL Second half of the day was similarly busy, with first floor having a slower last round while Spider-Man kept the upper floors busy through close. JH Customer Comments :  A lot of frustrated customers trying to buy what looked like available seats for Spider-man. I think this will be the last day with this problem. I explained to everyone I encountered what was happening and they seemed to understand by the end of the interactions. EL BAR Staff Observation s:  Natasha was about 15 minutes late. Once she got in she recovered the lost time quickly. Then the morning was pretty easy.  Ryan was early!  I pushed Tevon back to 4pm since Isi wasn't coming.
