Manager Communication:
Wyatt got machines slushy first thing (thanks, boss!) and Nat and Greg got the bars shiny shiny and we were off to the races. - IP
Jeshua has asked and I think this is probably a consideration across all bartenders across the land, that if their in-time gets changed to text them so they know as bartenders aren't ones to be checking emails and such super often. This is only because a few weeks ago everyone's in-time got pushed.  I told him it would be unlikely everyone gets changed, but in the instance of an absence that could happen. If we can all be aware, as we probably are, that texting in addition to 7shifts updates are helpful to a number of our staff.-LB
I meant to note this a few times and I know that devices are costly however it is challenging when we are slammed to go behind the bar to discount tabs for staff/voids. It is also near impossible to access the POS from the front due to customers. Would it be possible to have a mounted POS system console on the wall on the service side of Trees so we can do these discounts without entering the lion's den so to speak.-LB

Customer Comments:
We get guests who order items to-go that don't necessarily travel well in our containers - is there a world where we can give out the odd half-pint/pint container for queso or overnight oats, etc? Probably not - but if we're making guests pack up their own food, we could at least give them a vessel to maintain a little integrity of the dish. Just a thought.  Also, I truly don't feel like it's a big deal either way and think it is absolutely wild that someone would get overnight oats to go at a movie theater, but what do I know. - IP

More Frocos being noted as sour. I tasted the batch and it didn't taste more sour than usual to me.  It is definitely doing its job to mimmick the carbonation tang. Will highlight to Gus to determine whether the sour vs the flat send backs should be the winner here.-LB

BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua is such a work horse for the team.  He just moves about filling the gaps for the team wherever they are. Danny is really into the swing of Nitehawk. As is Duan.  Greg and Natasha set the day up for success. Tevon carried the crew through the afternoon.  A really great line up today. They make it look easy.-LB

FOH Staff Observations: Really good energy in the building today. Smiles and top notch vibes going into those theaters for service.-LB

Prep List:

We're down to a 12 count on "Low Class...", and I couldn't find more Yuzu Liqueur or enough Banana Liqueur to make another batch. Should order more of both if we're going to continue batching it. - IP
Ian started a batch with the rums so Gus, if you want to experiment tomorrow with a substitute recipe batch. -LB
Tevon's batch list is on the white board in the walk-in.  I had him clock out of his bar shift and he got started for the 30 minutes he is pushing back tomorrow. He made a double Level 0 martini, double The Child and simple syrup so he can finish out Lemonade.-LB
