Manager Communication: 

Brisk morning, but service never felt overwhelming and both bars sailed through the daytime hours.  Trees got a nice crowd just before the second round kicked off, but they had cleared out by about three.  Mandalorian crowd is definitely full of kids, so the service pushes have been fairly tame even when sold out. JH
I broke out a box of pint glasses and a box of service trays.  I also broke out the last box of shot glasses for Trees. As with every theater being rather full, most things were out in use. We seem shy on trays.  -LB

The dumbwaiter was locked tonight so we could not send dishes down from Trees to grab at the end of the night, should we include this in our email?-LB

BAR Staff Observations: 

Easy breezy Saturday morning.  I had Danny float between both bars during the second round so each bar had extra hands for their respective service pushes.  Once Jeshua + Lydia arrived they were both able to do restock for each bar before the dinner round kicked off. JH
Busy round for lobby so I had Danny tap out Matthew and help Jeshua through that busy 3/7 load in. I spotted through the staff after cutting Natasha so everyone could get family meal just ahead of the ticket frenzy for Theater 1. 

Jeshua got frustrated tonight in the lobby.  He had been having a lot of weird customers just asking questions in strange ways. This kept happening. So around 9:40pm I had gone down there to hang out with him and support him. I told him to take a break and shake it off.  I offered to cover lobby so he could help Trees get through the sold out Theater 2 10:15pm rush, which was my plan anyway.  Eventually he took me up on this as a good distraction. He has some stuff bothering him outside of work that made dealing with people harder today. We spoke about it when he came back down. Saturday nights can definitely be a challenge and tonight was no exception. Lots of people coming out of the woodwork being very eccentric today.-LB

Lydia, Gabrielle and Danny handled a VERY happening Trees Lounge today. People were hanging out.  -LB

Wicked busy. Adjusting tips past 12:30pm for the bar team while they closed. The ISI containers and the coffee airpots and lids cannot go in the dishwashers, if you see this happen please correct it or those items will malfunction.-LB

   
FOH Staff Observations: Conner is always super ready to tackle trays and hustle them out of Trees on Saturdays. All the servers are super open to instruction from me for help during busy situations and I appreciate their help always.-LB

I put together a double batch of The Child during the second round, as all product was already stocked behind both bars.  Spoke to Lauren about it, and we should have enough to get us through tomorrow.  Will most likely need to make more for Monday, though. JH

We received the box of Mango Nectar from US foods so we are good to go for making more whenever we need to.-LB

I made Tea. We may need to make more The Child and Twitterpated.-LB

Maintenance: 

The lobby coffee maker displayed an error about being unable to refill water after it brewed its first urn of the day.  I had Matthew turn off the machine to give it time to catch up, and when he turned it back on ten minutes later everything was back to normal. JH

Dio had two guys come through during the first round and they took a look at the lowboy that was being an issue last night.  It definitely seemed to be working fine before doors, but they cleaned both lowboy compressors and then did some work on the fans, too.  I asked them to do the same for the lobby lowboys, but they left after they had completed only the lobby lowboy under the frozens. JH

The ice machine at Trees tossed up Error 3 a few times at the start of the second round, but seemed to be just fine after I reset it twice. JH

We definitely put the machine to the test today. We went through a good deal of ice. But it was making ice all night.-LB
