Manager Communication: Some callouts to start the day. A bit thin to start the day. 

IF YOU DO NOT READ ANYTHING ELSE ON THIS BLOG PLEASE READ THIS... As expected, You Are Iconic is selling very well. We sold 48 today. The garnish is not a fun one to do during the rush and I HIGHLY recommend stocking that garnish like CRAZY tomorrow for a smoother service. I would anticipate a whole lot being made tomorrow and if I was opening tomorrow I would make sure there is plenty of garnish prepped at the beginning of service. - AB2

Color Of Pomegranates needs to be charged. It is ready in the walk-in labeled "NEEDS TO BE CHARGED!!!" - AB2 

We seem to be out of the little white envelopes that go over the black covering of the gift cards. I did not see any in lobby bar and they were not on the shelf behind the door in the office. Anywhere else maybe I can find them? If not, they need to be ordered. Jared and James are aware and could not find any. - AB2

Tonight I got Matthew out around 8:30, right before the last round for TH1/2 got in. I had Knibbs run the pass with Natasha as hands. He got hit pretty hard but overall did well (for a new/fresh bartender). I wanted him to go through it tonight and learn what he can expect from sold out/busy theaters. Ticket times were longer than usual compared to when it's Natasha and Matthew but things got done and correctly. - AB2

Later I told him I was sorry if it was a tough night due to me making him go through it and he said "that's what I wanted." I love that man! You can't teach that. - AB2

Today I met Knibbs for the first time and I must say, I am a huge fan. He takes direction very well, he moves through the bar smoothly and communicates but does not yell. He is soft spoken and good with guests. He was a good sport about me putting him through the ringer. He put his head down and just did it and had no complaints whatsoever. Homie is an absolute pleasure to work with. Hyped he's on the team. - AB2

BAR Staff Observations: Matthew and Tevon crushed today.

Early in the shift I noticed Jeshua in Trees to close and I love Jeshua but don't think he works best in a group setting. He is an absolute solo lobby assassin but in Tree's I have noticed that other bartenders do not work well with him because he can be loud and break people's concentration or just spike up peeps anxiety. I had the thought to switch him with Knibbs tonight. I thought it would be better not having Knibbs solo and better for the team to have Jeshua in lobby. I ran it by Gus and we moved them around. Thanks for doing that Gus mane. Everyone ended up being happier with the decision. - AB2

I do not believe we needed 5 bartenders today. It was busy and we were moving but if we had our usual Friday peeps, I think we would have been good. I think the move would be...

Lobby - 1 person opens, when the closer comes in, one of them goes up to Trees until dinner round settles then we cut that opener.

Tree's - opener leaves after last round ends (Matthew is down for this longer shift) and then we close with one bartender and then lobby closer checks in with Tree's closer before they leave in case they need anything. - AB2

FOH Staff Observations: Grace had an attitude.

^^^ I feel like I have been hearing this about Grace a lot lately (both in Bar blog and FOH blog) but what's up? I have been updated on her current situation. Do we need to have a check-in? Is she unhappy here? Are we just prolonging keeping her here or do we want to come together as a team and turn this around? I have never really had issues with Grace (I'm am also here the least) but down to go forward with whatever the best move for the team is. - AB2

Eddie seemed a bit lost in TH3 at one point. I think he has got to work on verbiage. He went up to a table to ask if they got something. The guest said that they did not. Eddie mean't if they had even ordered those items at all but they interpreted Eddie as if he was asking them if their order had hit the table yet. This created some confusion but Evan was on top of it and got the table everything they needed. I say this to say that Eddie is clearly new but I like the ability he has to feel comfortable checking things with guests (That is honestly an overlooked quality in servers). I think he has a good start but may have a few fumbles from time to time by feeling a little flustered. I am sure this is already being implemented but I think he needs to be paired with good/lead servers when possible for maximum success and to build better habits. Best time to create good habits is early. - AB2

I guess disregard all above about Eddie. Homie gave his checkout and said here wasn't for him. He thought everyone was great but Nitehawk just was not for him so today was his last day. We got coverage on this thing FOH managers? - AB2

Tons of Simple Syrup. We should only need to batch Lemonade maybe- 4 in the walk-in, both upstairs and down were filled to the brim with Lemonade.
