Wednesday 4/29/26 Ian/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:
Coca cola came by and the lovely technician Jim hooked us up with a new bar gun and manifold (the under part) so we are back in business in the service well. -LB
I put out 4 dozen Collins glasses, we have no more back ups.-LB

BAR Staff Observations:
Jeshua handled a very busy Lobby (lots of new folks coming through for Doc'n Roll and just could not resist the opportunity to order a drink before heading up the stairs).  Routed first floor once the lobby gate came down, and he was able to help Gabrielle with a few closing tasks.  The last two Wednesdays have had a very busy Trees crowd, so Jeshua has been a real champ the last two weeks.  Matthew + Gabrielle sailed through service, with Matthew sticking around until Trees had mellowed into the third round.  Gabrielle handled a very busy bar for the rest of the evening and closed without issue. JH

Special Events?
The Q&A in Th1 ended up running long, so Matthew stuck around a little later to help serve the first wave of post-Q&A guests.  I closed the VIP check to Talent Tenders.  JH

PPWSL had a team roll through this evening.  Easygoing group, as usual. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Jenn for bar email: could you please note to bartenders to thoroughly rinse with the dishpit nozzle the filter baskets for brewing coffee. There were some caked coffee grinds in there.-LB   (included + posted. JH)

Prep List:
sour apple syrup-LB
Ian made a buunch of stuff.-LB

Will definitely need to make some FroCo tomorrow morning. JH

Over/Short on Banks:
Trees was under $15.  Unsure what happened, as that is an unusual amount (for bar, since usually it is the cost of a beer).  I did think of one cash transaction earlier in the evening that may have been the issue, but Gabrielle had already clocked out.  I will follow up with her tomorrow. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Skurnik, Baldor, Union, roundtable.
US foods and Baldor FRIDAY

Maintenance:
Ian's bubbler notes: I was able to get the motor unit out of the casing - unfortunately the magnetic plate that attaches to the motor is completely stuck on there. Looks like the tiny hex screw that keep the magnet in place is either stripped or has something broken off inside it. I opted to remove the whole motor unit (and the plate upon which it sits) and reassemble the bubbler with one intact, working motor. I think with the rate that lemonade flies here, it's worth having the one bubbler chamber working until we can either order another magnet plate, or we can get this one off of the old motor without damaging it. TLDR: Lobby bubbler has one working chamber we are going to use for lemonade until I can get the other motor operational. - IP
