Manager Communication:
Smooth day into night. The private event on the mezz was a smashing success, thanks to Raekwon. Spoons went off without a hitch thanks to everything being ready to go on Jenn's watch, and the excellent bar team ready for anything. Jared and Dion handled the floor with ease. Got a bunch of stuff ready for Tevon's batch shift tomorrow - have a list on the whiteboard (also below in the prep section for reference/edits). - IP

Customer Comments:
A guest named Rich (presumably a local artist from the group that frequents our mezz space) was inquiring about the lighting on the mezz and if/when we were going to get more art up there. I told him he could reach out to our prospectpark@nitehawkcinema.com address with any questions. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Got Tevon out of here on the earlier side and had Gab swing upstairs to help out with Spoons. Matthew is a beast, and got Gab out of here right around 9p, and handled the rest of the evening solo. Jeshua had a busy little evening in the lobby, but killed it as per usual. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Justin seems to be very thorough as a server - always communicates efficiently and clearly. - IP

Special Events?
Private event was nice and easy. Raekwon made sure everyone had a great time, and they even got to sneak in a last round at Trees after the movie! Spoons was very tame tonight. The product levels are definitely good going into the weekend show of ST&B. - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 
Bar binders are updated with the new drink special.  Build sheets are printed, cut, and ready to post tomorrow. JH

I made a ton of simple and more demerara syrup so Tevon has all the basics he will need (and also a Holy Mountain to get rid of the previous batch of Horchata). The list on the whiteboard for tomorrow is as follows:

Horchata (I put a note to check in w opening bar MOD in case we want to taper off the Holy Mountain leading up to menu change)

Straws arrived.  Baldor + US Foods arriving tomorrow. JH

Maintenance: 
Coke came through a little before we opened doors, and replaced the soda gun at Trees that was giving us issues. JH

Mobilebytes Issues:
Card reader at Trees bank station was being funny again. Reset the app, then went into the payment terminals tab, unhighlighted the terminal and rehighlighted it, and it didn't have any more issues rest of night. Fixable issue, just noting because it's been happening more frequently. - IP

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
