Manager Communication:

I moved all of the Chains of Love cocktail from both bars and put it all in a 4 qt store-n-pour in the walk-in. We have 2 Mysteries in Tree's at the moment and I wanna save real estate in the lowboy. - AB2

Customer Comments:

I got a walkie call from Thursdae at the end of the last round in TH5. The guy was in 405 and said there was a misunderstanding with the bill. He said that he wanted a burger with a side salad and fries. Thusdae put in a Burger with a side salad and then a side of fries. He stated that there was a misunderstanding. I asked what was wrong. He thought that the salad was $2... and that the burger and fries was $19... so he was expecting to pay $21 total for his burger with two different sides. I told him that the $2 is added to the burger price and that everything was put in accurately. He asked if he could have the fries taken off... I asked "Did you not want the fries?" He said that no one took them... I said "so you ate them?" and he said yes because he wanted them. I then said, so you wanted the fries and the salad and the burger and you got everything... He then said that we weren't seeing eye to eye and that he will pay but no extra for service. I said "ok." 

Homie was cheap and wanted us to take food off of his bill and I denied that. I mention this here incase he emails about any of this. - AB2

BAR Staff Observations:

Matthew is only becoming a better and better bartender each time I work with him. He makes every shift so easy for each manager. Love having him on our team. - AB2

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 

Just a slight change to the garnish on the drink special for The Bride!  Since the drink doesn’t have the same amount of foam as it does when shaken to order (we did make sure to vigorously shake the the store-n-pour beforehand), we dialed back the black absinthe to just one dash. Spoke with Edgar and they are doing the same at NWB, so it is consistent across both locations. JH  

86ed / counts on items:

We finished the Kahlua and do not have much Irish Coffee mix left. Both bars have about half of a fords bottle left. I think we should 86 it before menu change or check in to see how much Kahlua we have at NWB because it is getting warmer and less and less people are ordering it. - AB2

Prep List: 

Tevon got through a good chunk of the prep list, and I helped top off the FWWM + Lemonade back ups in the walk in. JH

I put Coke Syrup in Cambro's and put the Margarita in the keg. Tomorrow Iced Tea will need to be done. - AB2 

Lost & Found?:

Emma Shirey left her card in Tree's. It has been put where the cards go. - AB2

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 

12% + Baldor + US Foods arrived.  Small Baldor order arriving tomorrow. JH

Maintenance: 

When hooking up the next Black Manhattan keg during service, I experienced the same issue as a few weeks ago with the lid being unable to seal properly. I swapped out the lids, but the problem continued. I ended up washing the keg I had just unhooked, and then poured the contents of one into the other, and hooked back up the keg that had been on the line initially. JH
