Monday 1.2.26 / Ariel & Ian / NPP Bar

Manager Communication:
I added a couple magnets to DW2 station for a cue sheet to be placed. This is going to now be a location for MOD's to place cue sheets going forward. - AB2
Dion cut their finger pretty good using the peeler. They had to step off the floor and go to City MD, so I had to have more of a presence on the floor and was not able to get as much batching done. - AB2

During the intermission of the double feature the operational urinals in the Trees men's room overflowed again. Markenson and I cleaned up the water on the floor, and once the bathroom rush ended, and the urinals had a chance to catch up, there was no leakage. I think the drains to the urinals themselves might be clogged - or they are not draining fast enough to empty the bowl before overflowing when they are in constant usage. It's either too much water coming out too fast or not enough is able to go down fast enough. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Jeshua was unaware that he was scheduled to work today. Ariel called him about ten minutes after his in-time and he was shocked to find that he was scheduled. He said he missed the email on Wednesday that went out about updated schedules - Jeshua was not the only one who has vocalized that this past schedule threw some people off - obviously we are sort of in flux right now with staffing levels and reorganizing shift coverage - but a lot of our employees have relatively set schedules, so if we are making any changes to days they historically do not work, I think we should be extra thorough about communicating those changes. Ariel gave Jeshua a write-up, which he understood and as this is rarely if ever an issue for Jeshua I'm certain we won't have to worry about this again. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Siete continues to be a champ at the pass. - IP

Special Events?
Sam Jackson Dbl Feature - went very smooth. About 70 guests. Went through just about all of the Bitch, Be Cool. - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
I love Lauren's idea about shortcuts for batching/labelling. It would be super easy to get envelope address label sheets, and then print out a sheet at a time with like, thirty (or however many per page) labels of the names of each batched cocktail, then rather than writing out the thing and tearing tape, etc we can just have them slap one of those bad boys on, write the date and bob's your uncle. - IP

86ed / counts on items:
Dream Big - 42
Peace & Respite - 43
Still haven't put a count on the Hot Bananas - tomorrow I can do some counting before a fresh batch and get it locked in correctly. - IP

Prep List:
Ariel made a Black Manhattan keg, I made a Marg Keg, Holy Mountain, and strained the horchata.
Tomorrow the priority is getting more Arbol Tequila steeping and then making some more simple syrup. Less important, but still to get to is a backup OF keg and movie specials (if any need batching). - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
I received US Foods and Baldor today. We were shorted the Apricot Puree but Esther informed me that we were already credited. - AB2
We received the sanding sugar for the Hot Bananas. I put enough for service in a rimming tray at lobby and left the bottle at Trees. - IP

Maintenance:
The door to the theater 5 service station no longer closes because the spring-loaded arm has become detached from the doorframe at the top. This has been noted on the maintenance doc, but as it is potentially a service / noise issue - I think even if Juan remains absent, we should get a fix moving on this. - IP

Mobilebytes Issues:
Jenn - would you mind throwing a note in the bar email about making sure to keep the card readers plugged back in after they use them for an Apple pay? Can really gum up service when they slow down because they go to sleep, etc. - IP
