Manager Communication: Gil and I opened. Great day. -GS
Customer Comments: This lady from the neighborhood who guessed I was from Wisconsin came back and was hanging at Trees. She guessed I was from Wisconsin again, but my take away was that she's coming back to hang out and that made me happy. -GS

I was walkied to go to the Lobby from Dwight. Dwight, Erika, and a guest were standing there. Dwight handed me a flag from the seat in front of the guy who was standing next to me. The flag stated that this guy was being disruptive and calling things gay. I barely read to be honest. Homie said "fucking white people! I'll leave!" I said "Yeah today is not the day for the movie. You have a tab? I can close it out." He had no idea where he was sitting. Erika said "301" I opened up 301 and homie said "THATS NOT EVEN FUCKING ME! I WAS SITTING SOMEWHERE ELSE!!" After looking at where he stated he was sitting, he said that that was not him either and shouted his order which was everything at 301 (all further confirming my decision to get him out of here). He then asked if he can order another IPA. I said no and then he stated "I can go to jail right now. Y'all are racist and fucking gay. This is fucking gay" (I want to state that homie was hispanic and so am I so... I don't see any racism. He was just borracho.) He stormed off saying more of a similar statement while leaving. - AB2
BAR Staff Observations:
At around 8:40 (check drop was 8:32 & credits at 9:02) , there was a call from TH1 that people in row 8 were fighting. I was told that 815 hit 813. I went into the theater to speak with 813. I asked if everything was ok and that I was just requested into the theater because of an incident. She was with a group of 5 and the one sitting at 813. She told me that her neighbors were on their phone, talking, and being very disruptive. She then stated that the kid next to her had hit her (The kid at that time was not present and had left the theater for the rest of the evening). Once she stated this, The kids dad said that no one had hit her. He said that they threw a paper ball at them and started everything. The girl then stated that I was speaking to her. I then stated that this needs to stop. I don't want to hear any back and forth and I do not want to interrupt any more of the film. Whoever wants to talk, we can talk at the end of the film because I will be present at credits. I left and everything seemed calm. There was 10/15 minutes left in the movie so I figured that I would let them finish the movie. If this happened earlier in the film, I would have just kicked all of them out.
Movie ended and I was standing right outside of the row. 816 (815's father I presume from all the chatter) stood up and quietly walked away without saying anything to 813 or her party. He came up to me and handed me the bill. I took it and they left peacefully. I waited for 813 and asked them if they were ok. She was distraught. I asked how everything happened. They stated that they wrote a flag that the guests were being disruptive and that no one came. I came immediately after I was informed about any issue. I believe that the flag was written earlier in the screening but not reported. I told her that I came in as soon as I heard anything. She said that their neighbors (815,16,17) were on their phones the entire time and shining the flashlight a bunch. When they shinned the flashlight to sign the check, she told them they can sign when the movie is over and they just ignored her. Her friend then rolled up a paper ball ("to get their attention") and then after it hit them, the kid (815) threw a paper ball at them and in his release, hit her chest. I felt rather conflicted because if you throw something at someone, I can't help you. If someone retaliates, well then you should have not thrown something at someone. I apologized for the inconvenience and stated that I got to the scene as soon as I heard anything. I told them that if they wanted a drink at the bar, they can say Ariel sent them and I would take care of a round.
She emailed and I read it. I think some things are expressed a little extra. I know she wants these folks 86'd and I don't necessarily disagree but also want to state that her party threw things first. I think that they are probably good regular guests because they understand how we operate but they handled a situation poorly. I hate to type all of this and wish peeps can just be adults but here we are. Please reach out if you have any questions or if you think I could have handled this better. - AB2
Immediately after this, a big group of kids went into TH2 (Wuthering Heights) and Dwight was like "What's going on here?" He ended up kicking them out and they were loud and difficult in the Lobby. Dwight had to yell at them to leave the building and had to come out from behind the bar. - AB2

I 3x batched the Bitch, Be Cool
Also batched some Froco.
I was unable to get to as much batching as I wanted to due to being busy on the floor. Sorry homies.
A Margarita keg kicked and a Tom Collins keg kicked.
I changed a lot of kegs tonight so we shouldn't have to change many. Some sodas will probably need to be changed early in the shift tomorrow fyi. - AB2

Mobilebytes Issues:
Tree's POS closer to edge printer had an issue. Most of the time this is just the ethernet giving issues. I reattached it and made sure the printer was connected to the right location. Not a real issue, Just stating that bartenders are quick to state that a problem is present but it just requires checking paper, turning off and on, making sure ipad is connected to the correct printer, and that everything is properly connected. Not just to the printer but also the outlet and ethernet brick. - AB2
