Manager Communication: Light morning  was able to get a lot of stuff done for Spoons.

The team on tonight was great. Top to bottom. It wasn't a crazy busy night, but there were a lot of moving parts and everyone was locked in. Becca is already killing it. So good at the pass and such a calm and lovely demeanor with everyone. - IP

Customer Comments: Had one odd guest tonight that Justine alerted us to in Th 3 - Wyatt handled it with little issue. - IP 

BAR Staff Observations: I pushed back both closers by one hour and we cut Natasha. -GS

Very smooth night thanks to the man, the myth, the legend, Matt Soler. He is just a machine - like having two bartenders behind the bar. He said he was fine to handle Spoons on his own, so I got Gab outta here around 8:30 - and he 100% crushed. Handled the bar crowd, service pass and glassware and barely broke a sweat. I hopped in to help with the crowd at the bar after a particularly rowdy screening let out and there was a decent pop at the bar - and pretty much handled bussing and glassware for him. And then I had Jeshua in the lobby, so there wasn't a whole lot I had to assist with (dude is a PROFESSIONAL.) . - IP

FOH Staff Observations: Brea is a really hard worker - played through the pain today with a sore leg, but it didn't slow her down at all. Tough. - IP

Special Events: Spoons with debut drinks

Gus crushed prep for Spoons, which was a breeze. The new cocktails have gotten rave reviews, however we didn't sell a ton of them (pretty standard for Spoons). The shelf life of the clarified drinks is going to be awesome for batching and I think once we get a better sold show and the word gets around about the new drinks they'll start picking up. Hosts are thrilled :) - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Bar meeting- staffing things and mise improvements -GS

I labeled the remaining Paris Iced Tea bags as "DO NOT USE FOR ICED TEA" and taped the boxes shut, then labeled the new plain black tea bags as "DO USE FOR ICED TEA" just so there is no confusion. - IP

Prep List: All the spoons drinks up and running and in Bevager- however, not prep items just yet. -GS

The counts were a little off on the specials tonight so we got close to running out of both - I made a half batch of Avatar (not sure how much longer it'll be on the menu) and a full batch of Dream Big as it is selling very well - and then made sure that the count was accurate so we won't almost run out again. Gus prepped all the usual suspects and tomorrow should be ready to rock and roll at open. Only thing that will probably need to be made is more Holy Mountain. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Manhattan, 

Maintenance: Coke came today, worked on the guns, didn't replace them, but serviced them.

Soda guns are much better - still a tad foamy, but they're already settling better. - IP
