Manager Communication:
I came in and plugged the compressor back into the wall, and it seemingly had no issue this morning. Gus popped by to drop off some Cinzano to make a backup Negroni keg, and we took a look. Other than one of the gauges on the side remaining in the red, the soda gun seems to be operating normally. - IP
Coke called back, but did not leave any message. I was helping at Trees and missed it - and subsequently was unable to get a hold of them. - IP
Coke called me when I was asleep. Hopefully we can touch base and they can send someone so we learn how to fix the issue faster or replace the part.-LB
So I think we may be over-saturated at the moment with plastic pints in the racks. I know we have been expecting the team to unload racks, but there isn't that much glass in each rack. I broke out the last box of pint glasses. I will order two more.

I think this week, maybe Wednesday, I can go through and pull out some dry 16 oz plastic cups and put them away. I also think we can retire some of the extra racks circulating. During this glass frenzy and busy busy Sunday, I was in the service well and without Becca, James and Dion helping bar team we would have sunk. Excellent teamwork. -LB
Regarding the glassware ratio, we definitely needed to empty some racks at the end of the night. So I think that just pulling some plastic pints out of circulation will free up the racks and also even out the glassware in circulation, or we need to break out more glasses. We were short on pilsner glasses, which I know we have stashed in the back somewhere.-LB
I think these 3 day weekend Sundays should be staffed like a Saturday. Particularly the ones during cold and flu season. Trees was bumpin all night, we had a birthday party and busy. busy theaters.
James stuck around until about 9 which was so invaluable. Today was a very clear example of one team, one dream. We just could have used maybe one more team member or two. But nothing was affected service wise.-LB
BAR Staff Observations:
Charlie got mixed up and started opening up Trees lounge, so I had Nat stay in the Lobby and had Charlie take on the morning solo. He did a really good job. There are still some blindspots with glassware and batch restocking, but it was a decently busy couple rounds in 1 and 2 and he handled them excellently. Nat was, as always, set it and forget it. Checked in several times and she never needed anything except to offload some collins glasses for Trees. Legend. - IP
Nia got more coaching today. I was annoyed when I heard her drop 4 glass shot glasses in the sink. I was like they most definitely broke. And they had. She doesn't have bartender common sense which is pretty critical to the job.-LB
Darius was a bouncy machine tonight. Helping customers with his normal smile, unpacking glassware, just here there and everywhere. -LB
FOH Staff Observations:
Monica really sets such an awesome standard for the servers here. Always hustling, that's a given, but today a mother and her young son got lost and headed up the staff stairs, and Monica, while holding a full tray, took the time to help direct them to the right theater, calmed the frazzled Mom down, and got the kid (who is honoring us with his first ever trip the to movies!) super excited to go see Zootopia. Phenomenal work. - IP
Caleb was an unpacking rockstar. Sam running dishes. I encouraged any server waiting around to help since I was pinned in the service well for most of the evening.-LB
Sick Leave/ Call outs: Jeshua is sick. We could have used his fast hands tonight. -LB
86ed / counts on items: Stout. I put a count on Al's it is at 25 as of 8:12pm-LB

Villybryg is also on a count, bottle at Trees lounge.-LB
Prep List:
Gus dropped off some Cinzano so I was able to make a back-up keg of Negoni.

Made another batch of Dream Big (count is at 56) and more iced tea.
Will need to batch more lemonade tonight - and maybe some other stuff, but after the dinner round sales are more mellow.
I made honey syrup. Ice Tea and 2 Frocos. I did not have any energy left to make more than that. There is a priority list on the white board. -LB
Pay Outs: 7150 $8.70 for Bleach
Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US foods coming tomorrow. Setting up a Baldor order to arrive Tuesday morning. -LB
Maintenance: The hot water spigot at Trees is not really flowing and it is not hot. Caleb noticed this around 10pm. I feel like this happened in this last year and it resolved itself. -LB
The margarita keg gas attachment was being difficult and wouldn't stay on. I soaked it in boiling water and it seems to be okay now. -LB
The soda at Trees was pouring half foam for the majority of the two hours I spent behind the bar. I hope to see resolution with the new guns, but I also had this happen yesterday at the 3/5 gun when I was covering down there.-LB
