Manager Communication: 
Trees got absolutely slammed after the first round let out.  A young kid had a birthday party, and a bunch of other groups came through for some sips, bites, and protection from the wind.  Very very busy, but bar team absolutely handled the crowd like champs. JH
Trees solidly busy through the evening. 
I think as a function of safety, we can't let bartenders play music when they are restocking in the back, need to be able to hear people saying corner. I think we should highlight this in next week's bartender email.-LB

BAR Staff Observations: 
Matthew was a champ about coming in and opening Lobby this morning while still dealing with some rough back pain, so I got him out of here when Greg got in.  Both Greg + Natasha held down the bars during the first two rounds of service without issue.  As Th1 opened for its second round, Trees was bustling and busy, so I took over the service pass and Natasha sailed through all the bar guests and was able to back me up whenever she had a moment.  Gabrielle clocked in a few minutes early, and got right into bussing the floor and keeping up with tickets. JH
Cut Greg after dinner rush. Gab stuck around through the last seating, which was great due to a busy Trees all night. -LB

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 
(Bar Meeting) As far as staffing went for today, if Matthew was not still suffering from back pain, I would not have cut him.  We managed to navigate service without any hiccups, but we definitely could have used two bartenders at Trees before Gabrielle get in.  I made the cut because I felt comfortable having Natasha at Trees and Greg at Lobby solo until Gabrielle got in.  Just wanted to note it, since we are potentially revising some scheduling standards. JH

2 Froco, made 4 quarts of bloody, left half concentrate in Walk-in. 2 menta cream (back ups in Liquor room lowboy), I made Juniper Syrup (FYI the binder has the larger size recipe) and I made a back up of weighed spices, just need to be muddled or ground.-LB

Maintenance: 
The hot water at Trees was giving us issues again this morning.  I turned it off for a while (about 20-30 minutes), and then turned it back on.  After about 45 minutes, it was pouring hot water again.  The problem did not occur for the rest of daytime service.  This is definitely happening a lot more regularly now, so we may want to get the machine serviced in the near future. JH 
Evil Twin line still giving me issues to tap, just kinked the line and that eventually helped. -LB

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
