Manager Communication: Thought it might be useful to add a section on here for drink specials running and mystery cocktails. So we are all up to date on any extra prep needs etc.  -LB
Busy busy night at Trees. Diligence on all fronts for the bar team. -LB
Coca cola did nothing to fix the foamy soda issues on the service pass at Trees lounge. They didn't replace the guns or look at the lobby guns which also need buttons. They are supposed to be coming back out to actually replace the soda guns at trees. I will be making a new service ticket. Much needed time is wasted standing at the foamy soda guns. -LB 
At Jenn's suggestion, I asked Gab to give Nia a more thorough tutorial on pre-closing Trees as things wind down. They worked great together. 
I do think if we want to start closing Trees earlier, no matter what that ends up looking like, having a pull out rope that says "Trees is now closed" would be very helpful for crowd control when Theater 1/2 etc get out late night. We can also do this with regular stanchions but something about that seat belt fabric that is all business. -LB

BAR Staff Observations: 
Matthew and Natasha did a great job setting up both bars before doors, and we sailed through service in the first two rounds without needing any restocking.  Greg came in shortly before the second round in Th1 kicked off, and he and Natasha toggled back and forth between guests and service pass.  Great work all around today. JH
Greg did a massive restock for the bar. Jeshua grabbed what Matthew went through, openers held strong through family meal. Massive dinner rush that the bar team sailed through with constant communication and movement. -LB

FOH Staff Observations: Siete is an honorary bar team member. I gave them a token for supporting bar team running dishes and unpacking racks when we were low on stuff during the big rushes. This support is so important and we are grateful to have someone that has eyes on our needs.-LB
Eryn is so seasoned. -LB

Sick Leave/ Call outs: 
Lydia emailed myself and Lauren last night to let us know that they were experiencing severe neck discomfort and would not be able to work today.  Due to sales, we had already discussed potentially cutting a bartender, so we were able to push Greg back until 2:00pm and mark Lydia's shift as Sick. JH
Jeshua let me know he isn't feeling well. He will tell me by noon tomorrow. I think we could be fine if we cut him and I push Darius back a little. -LB

Got ahead of some FroCo, and moved it all into four quarts so they can just grab-n-go when restocking. JH
Jenn made simple and strained the Horchata. I made Tea, half batch I am the fire,  2 Froco, dream Big, honey syrup. Bamboo lounge and Irish cheaters. We are really cranking out the Froco.  Mr and Mrs Collins kicked, it is still in the walk-in, that can wait until Monday. -LB

Maintenance: 
Trees ice machine flashed 3 around 2:30pm, but a quick restart got it back in working order again. JH
I forgot to note this happening last week. She came back to life by night's end. Today she is doing the ice making thing again. -LB

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
