Manager Communication: 

Rebecca and I opened the building. I had to help Trees set up cause we had a tardy issue, not too late, but we got it done. Got a lot of batching done pre open as well. -GS

Stayed busy until after the dinner round. Gab stuck around til 8ish, as the bar remained quite crowded til around 9. Dion and Wyatt rocked it out sans Carly, and we had a smooth night. - IP

BAR Staff Observations: 

Nia and Lydia opened. I had to help them open. -GS

Gab and Charlie handled a busy Trees very well. I jumped in a couple of times to help with the service pass, and later with a post-28 Years Later pop right before re-routing the lobby. Patrick had a pretty easy shift downstairs, and came up to help Charlie with his close when he was done. - IP

FOH Staff Observations: 

We had no hot water for Tea in Trees. I did the trouble shoot, but it took awhile to heat up- no complaints. -GS

Jovani is just great. Always looking for some way to help when she's at the service pass. It is really appreciated. - IP

I observed Security Guard Michael sitting at Trees lounge, drinking a lemonade and hanging out and chatting with some staff who had just gotten off their shifts. I asked him if he was on a break - he said no - I said, then you shouldn't be sitting here hanging out at the bar, that's a really bad look. He seemed annoyed, but did immediately get up and go back to work. Just wanted to note it here because while it isn't necessarily my in purview to give notes to someone outside of the bar or service department, it was just kind of outrageous, and something needed to be said. - IP
