Manager Communication:
Coke came in today. The guy did tests and saw that there was no issue with the sodas. There was nothing out of the ordinary. He did put buttons on each spot missing a button on every gun. The soda can get foamy if the soda is passed its expiration date or if there is no ice in the well. He also stated that other guys are coming in to replace a couple guns and that's not what he was sent out for. - AB2

Tevon and Greg were scheduled for 12:45 and doors were at 2:05 today. I think this was a bit too early but by the time I noticed, it was too late to push them back those 15 minutes. My bad y'all. I will be sure to look at this earlier in the shift moving forward. - AB2

The drain for dish pit was snaked and all good and ready about an hour before doors today. - AB2

Customer Comments:
While I was covering Lobby, three young men come in just before 10pm with tickets for the 8:45pm Avatar.  One of them was carrying a very large bag of Chipotle take out, and they stopped by the box office to ask for directions to Th6.  They were fine missing the first hour, and said they had never been here before.  I let them know that we were a full-service dine-in movie theater, so they would not be allowed to eat their Chipotle while in the screening.  They asked if they could get a ticket credit, and I said I would make an exception and send them the e-credit since it was their first time visiting Nitehawk.

As I was getting the order id and confirming their email, one of them took some food out of the bag, placed it on the bar, and began eating it.  I asked him to please put it away, as I had just told them about our outside food policy, and he refused since they were not yet in the theater.  At that point, I told them that they would not be receiving an e-credit and that they were to leave.  While two of them were apologetic, the one guy munching away just kind of kept scarfing down tacos while glaring at me.  Ultimately, I called Michael and he saw that the three of them exited the building.

The Order Id was 3npfjgw, which I passed on to Wyatt. JH

BAR Staff Observations:
Greg got both bars restocked before the 9:15pm Maximum Overdrive screening, and clocked out as Patrick handled the Th1 service push solo.  I had Tevon begin to wind down Lobby, and got him out of here shortly after 9:30pm, and I worked Lobby for the last hour.  I did discuss this with both floor managers ahead of time, but there ultimately were not any bar-related walkie calls during my time downstairs.  Patrick made quick work of closing Trees and held down the last round without any issue. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Just a brief overview of how we handled last call tonight, as it was a mellow Monday last round and our special screening was over by 11:00pm.

Kitchen last call was 11:15pm, and I told Patrick that if we had no guests at Trees by that time, Trees would also do last call.  However, regardless of guests at Trees, the service pass at Trees would remain open until 11:30pm.  This gave servers a bit more leeway for any last minute drink orders after kitchen closed, and also afforded guests a slightly longer service window.

Overall, it worked well, and I think would probably work similarly well on those slower Sunday-Thursday last rounds. I spoke to Patrick about it, after he finished closing Trees.  He said that while tonight was very mellow it did not make a huge difference to his pre-close, but he could definitely see it being beneficial on busier nights. JH

86ed / counts on items:
86'd Deviation Stout.  There is no more Al's or Barritt's Ginger Beer in the walk-in, but both bars should be okay for the next day or so. JH

I Am the Fire (61)
Dream Big (60)

Prep List:
LB, I did not get to the Dancin' at the Disco batch. Sorry. - AB2

We had just about a dozen pours of Dream Big left as we entered the last round of screenings, so I made a batch and updated the count. JH

Old Fashion keg kicked, so we will need to make another one sometime before the weekend.  The keg is washed and chilling in the walk-in. JH

Pay Outs:
7903 - Event Talent ($50 - Maximum Overdrive Talent) - AB2

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Baldor & US Foods. - AB2

Maintenance:
A Trees lowboy door is acting up again, but this time it is a new one!  It is the lowboy closest to the service pass, and is the door in front of the Saratoga's. Looks like it came off the rail, or maybe something broke in the rail area, and we could not get it back to sliding normally.  I do not know if we need to reach out to the same people we used for the other door, so did not add it to the Maintenance doc yet.
