Manager Communication: 

I have heard tell that we are getting more and/or new walkie talkies, it is pretty dire at times since most are finnicky. -LB 

Mellow dinner round, with both big theaters getting to just about 100 tickets.  Pretty bopping crowd at Trees from 7:30-9:00, but most of them then went in to see Fantastic Planet.  Last guests left Trees a little after midnight. JH

BAR Staff Observations: 

Got Matthew out of here right after both bars were restocked and set for dinner rounds, and had Tevon and Val stick around through the second seatings of Th1/2.  Val took lead on service bar and is getting much better about when to call for hands, and this is something that will just get better with time as she works busier service pushes.  Tevon and Val did another restock for Trees before they got out of here, and Gabrielle and Jeshua closed each bar without issue. JH
 
Hiring/Training: 

Val day 5.  I have her starting with Tevon who is opening Trees today, since she missed the initial opening last week due to her orientation.  Then she will go down to Lobby bar to get some time to feel that out and get more acquainted with Filmbot. Ian, gave Val a super-duper tutorial on Filmbot in the office. -LB

Finished up Day 5 with Val, and her first live shift is this upcoming Tuesday, September 9th, where she wll be closing Trees.  She seems as ready as all of her trainer notes have said, and is looking to really hone in on where items are kept and where items live on MB. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 

Adjusted bartender in-times tomorrow from 1:45pm to 1:30pm.  I spoke with both openers and confirmed the change (Gabrielle and Tevon). JH

Prep List: 

Tea. 3x spicy agave. Made an experimental Don's Mix (Patrick's mix?) for the prospective Spice World cocktail. -LB

R&D comp checks: 

$16 to spillage. 

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:

Empire, Sarene, Skurnik, Baldor, Union. Gus dropped off Buffalo Trace and coffee beans. 

US foods coming Friday. 

Maintenance: 

Juan is fixing the Trees dish drydeck.-LB

The lowboy doors at Trees had their brackets/wheels replaced. They were seriously worn and torn. There is still a need to replace the wires the door hang on (called retractors) which they will need to come replace. One of the wires was tied to the bracket on the lowboy that wasn't as broken.  We also need to order some rubber gaskets, but he said I would be able to unscrew and rescrew the new ones on easily myself, but the retractors is a professional job. -LB

Mobilebytes Issues: 

There were printer issues during the second round, but it primarily affected the concession printers in kitchen.  Jared and Carly took the lead in contacting Cervion and troubleshooting.  Bar printers were unaffected, and we ultimately moved the Th7 service pass printer to the kitchen and routed Th7 drinks to the Th3/5 service pass.
