Manager Communication:

I watched some videos on the frozen machines today. Just wanted to let y'all know. In slush mode, the higher the number, the more dense it gets. If it's on a 1, it will be more watery with some ice chips and at the highest, well, real thick. In Cold mode, the number indicates the temperature in Celsius. - AB2 

It is extremely hot and humid, and the bar department has a lot to do before Friday, if there is anyway to prioritize the mounting of the fans. That would be really wonderful. -LB

BAR Staff Observations: The bar team crushed a busy late night event calendar, glad I kept both openers to facilitate the onslaught. I have some notes that are bar team specific that I will highlight Thursday. Instrumental teamwork today.-LB

Patrick is a darling and went up to help Nia close her first Monday solo close at Trees.  I had him walk her through close out as sometimes a coworker vs a manager is helpful. I told her Ian is a most reliable helper and will be here for her the coming Mondays if she needs assistance. She is a sponge and handled a very busy bar very well after Greg departed. -LB

FOH Staff Observations: Justine everywhere helping out with good vibes. Torey holding down his shit, Erica supporting as usual.  Good hard working vibes tonight. -LB


Sick Leave/ Call outs:   everyone seems to have a similar cold, if we could highlight hand-washing and wiping things down that people touch with sanitizer at the menu change meeting. 

Special Events? Theater 7 birthday, No Budge

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: The porters are stacking glassware very high again, probably because all of the wheeled dollies end up at Trees lounge. There isn't a good place to store them by the elevators. Would it be possible to have them on the stairs between 1/M on the non used side? The stacks going to the ceiling it is impossible for half the bar staff to get down and it is challenging for me as a tall arthritically challenged human. I had asked if we could put them under the dishpit dish machine in the kitchen for safe keeping but got no Intel on that. Please advise.-LB

Ariel also made a Mr. and Mrs Tom Collins, a bloody concentrate, super helpful ahead of Friday. He also made an OF keg that just needs the whiskey-LB

Over/Short on Banks: Filmbot was $5 under. Lobby was $9 over (had 11 10's in a bundle and also had 24 1's in a bundle). I took 5 from that $9 and put it to Filmbot, and then added $4 to the over/under. - AB2

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:

US Foods came in. Baldor is running super late at the moment. - AB2

Maintenance: The frozen machine at Trees has been unplugged.

Ice machine at Trees is saying sump temperature sensor fail, it seems to be making ice. It gave a few more codes, probably because this weather is messing up all the equipment. At night's end the machine was doing the right thing. 

Greg did a deep clean of the shelves that hold the glassware in Trees lounge with an assist from Nia. 

I unplugged the frozen tripod for a few hours, plugged it back in with the Violet chamber off. Which was helpful due to the party in theater 7 having Firewalk on their menu. This machine needs a doctor. -LB
 
Mobilebytes Issues: Greg had a check he could not add a tip to, check J1, they wrote 2.00 but it would not go in the system. Greg said he flagged it to Carly. Curious if there is a resolution to this issue. 

I also would love if "bar cocktails" could say Trees cocktails for the menu change.-LB
