Manager Communication:  

Slow sales. Glad the cuts were preemptive. 

Gus dropped off an old phone so we can show the US Open today and tomorrow hopefully getting some bar customers.-LB

Definitely got a little bit busier in the big theaters as we headed into the evening, and Th 4/5/6 all sold really well and kept the service passes bustling.  Had some groups hang around Trees post-movie, which kept the bartop busy, but most of them had cleared out as the last round of movies was seating. JH

BAR Staff Observations: 

Observed some really great training moments with Natasha and Nia. Natasha on the pass side and instructing on how to hold bottles etc. -LB 

Maya stuck around until Charlie had gotten family meal and was settled behind the bar, and then he rocked it solo for the rest of the evening.  Overall, he definitely seems to be getting the hang of things, asked very few questions and was proactive about reaching out for help when he needed it.  I walked him through the checkout report process, and then did a walkthrough of the bar with him when he was done closing, and everything was in its proper place.  

Greg and Jeshua crushed a surprisingly bopping Trees bar for the evening.  Greg did end up working a long shift, as our solo mid today but staffing levels were great throughout the day and he was able to get out of here just after 9:30.  Jeshua held down Trees solo and made quick work of wrapping things up at the end of the night. FOH Staff Observations: 

The servers in the last round of Th1 called for drink support during the initial service push, but the service pass was not backed up with any drinks at all.  I don't know if they had a bunch of latecomers or something, but they got themselves back on track after Dion and Caleb ran some drinks for them. JH

Hiring/Training: 

Nia on Day 4 with Natasha. It is so slow that this training session lacked some business to make it educational, cutting Natasha to batch, so Nia will also be done early.-LB

86ed / counts on items: 

Al's is on a count, 18 at the top of the day.-LB

Al's (8) + Palmdale (7) are on count. JH

Prep List: 

Made some Arbol tequila.-LB Natasha made FWWM, Lemonade, Violet, Santa Carla, Tornado Wrangler, Margarita Keg.-LB

Several cocktail kegs kicked during the last round of service, so we will need to make kegs of: Old Fashioned, Moneypenny, & Rebel With a Cause sometime tomorrow. Kegs are washed, dried, and waiting in the walk-in. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 

To Rise coming tomorrow, I can put straws in Malko when I arrive. -LB

Gus: US foods bringing 3 boxes soda and a case of lime juice tomorrow. -LB

Maintenance: 

Had some in-theater complaints about the Coke flavor being off during the service push in Th5's last round seating.  While I investigated, we had servers grab Cokes from Trees, as all of the other sodas were pouring fine.  It was not an issue with carbonation, and tasted like there was perhaps too much syrup in the mix.  I disconnected the line and ran both soda guns on Coke until the water came out clear, and then reattached the line.  After that, Coke went back to tasting normal and there were no further issues.
