Manager Communication:
I put the new hose for Trees Lounge in the dry deck by the second POS. -LB
Rebecca took and dropped off the incorrect wheels for the Trees lounge lowboy at Fedex yesterday-LB

Chill evening all around. Weapons continues to sell extremely well and those crowds are very thirsty. Trees Lounge was bustling up until the dinner round and then petered off considerably. Doldrums of summer indeed. - IP

BAR Staff Observations
Today was slowwww. Greg got in ahead of a slow brunch screening, restocked some stuff for Maya.  Maya got an early break in.  Cut Natasha early ahead of Charlie's arrival.  She is going to clock out and do a short bar prep.-LB

Picked up in the evening, but still not crazy. Greg stuck around through the last big weapons screening, but got out of here right as the rush was dying down. Charlie and Jeshua handled Trees extremely well - and Jeshua did a really great job of guiding Charlie. I was really thrilled to see him giving tips and pointers, because Jeshua knows all the ins and outs of bartending here. Darius had a nice chill swan song in the lobby. He will be dearly missed - NWB is so lucky!! - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Thursdae keeps on impressing. Great work all around - super happy they're feeling better and back. - IP

Hiring/Training:
Charlie is live. Kept a close distance when he was alone, but he is feeling it out. Glad to have him.-LB

Charlie did a wonderful job this evening. He is definitely green, but the good kind - he's eager to learn and good at following and retaining direction. He jumped in to take lead at the service pass for the Highest 2 Lowest screening at 8:45 which had jumped up to around 120 - so the rush was nothing to sneeze at. He took a minute to get his bearings - I offered to expo for him but he volunteered to give it a shot, and I trayed up, ready to jump in if necessary - but he didn't need it. He quickly got the hang of organizing the sodas and stuff to one side and determining which drinks to expo to hands at the tower. Definitely should get him more reps at the pass so he can commit the expo process to muscle memory, but he's already getting the hang of it. I think he's gonna fit in great here. - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Natasha let me know that there was no backup of some of the specials behind the bars or in the walk-in. So I explained how we are going to try to approach looking at the counts in the POS, rather than relying on visually confirming backup, so as to wait until we get to around a 10 count before we batch - she acknowledged that this makes perfect sense but relayed to me that this was not concisely explained to the team - so, if we could just either put that in the bar email or take a second to explain it to anyone you notice is forgetting to check the counts first. - IP

86ed / counts on items:
Palmdale - 30
Pink Slip - 17
Theme Music - 28

We have no more backup bottles of Buffalo Trace. - IP

Prep List:
Half batch Next Stop Palmdale, Tea, 1 Lemonade, 3 FWWM, 2 Froco , Bamboo lounge cheater*, from here to eternity cheater, 3 bloody Mary concentrate, arbol tequila-LB
*Gab made a Bamboo lounge yesterday, I am curious if we lost this batch somehow?
Natasha accidentally used the Noveis Amaro, which is actually on the cheater build sheet, even though she felt like that cheater is clear. Ringing in the cost to spillage $18.92.-LB
Only make half batches of the current specials if the count gets to 10 as per Gus.-LB

Made a 1/3 batch of PINK SLIP - count is up to 17. Otherwise, Nat's mini-prep got us well up to speed to nullify the prep shift tomorrow. Might need to think about more Can You Dig it and possibly more Tornado Wrangler, but otherwise we are stocked upppp. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
US foods coming tomorrow. -LB

Maintenance:
Coca-Cola came out and I learned a few things.  Firstly, if there isn't enough water pressure the carbonation will drop and the machine will freak out or smoke.  Secondly, the water pressure can be rectified by changing the filters, but you must change ALL of them.  The pre-filter was changed Friday. I changed the primary filters today, the long ones were the only type we had but he helped me make them fit but pulling the shelf out a little.  This was most definitely caused by the water main issue from last Monday.  The Trees lounge filters need to be changed as well.
The ice machine downstairs was not making much ice yesterday and today noting that it doesn't have adequate water flow, let's hope that issue is also resolved by the filter change.-LB

Mobilebytes Issues:
Some weird printing issues at Trees Lounge on the 4/6 printer today. Once in the morning from theater 2 seat 415, I think. And then again this afternoon ticket X13 printed on the  4/6 printer from theater 2 seat 417.
