Sunday 8/17/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: I put the two copper pitchers for Half-Trees rental water service in the closet above the events plates.-LB

Being shorthanded without a second mid today was tough, but we powered through, with Lauren and Greg pulling long ones. Sunday evenings are continuing to be quite busy - even the later rounds have been pickling up with walk-in business. - IP

Customer Comments:
a long time regular tasted Patrick's Spice World cocktail and they loved it.-LB

(Can confirm - drink is outstanding. I was a full on hater when I first heard the idea, and then I tried the mock-up today and I am a believer.) - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Charlie is on the ball.  Gave him some time to go over menu and our bar binder. Greg and him did great together during some busy pushes, nothing really popping today yet. -LB
We were down a player today and the bar team crushed it. Definitely some difficult pushes, but over all they are just heros.-LB

Yep. Team was great shorthanded. Patrick and Jeshua did the work of three bartenders with just the two of them. I hopped in at the pass to help throughout the evening and did as much triage of glassware as I could, but there was little to no pacing of glassware circulation. The dishpit just got absolutely dumped on at the end of each round. If we could try to have the service team bussing throughout the show and trying to bring glass racks down throughout the screening that would mitigate these huge pile-ups. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Erech, not FOH, but in my heart. He offered to carry any glassware to Trees that was needed. He carried up three racks for them. Such an amazing offer. -LB

Yeah, Erech Crushed. Rae was super clutch today with an assist on soda cups for the lobby bar. - IP

Hiring/Training:
Charlie was pretty great today. He took his quiz. There are one or two answers I want to go over but he did excellent. He asks great questions.  I gave him a print out of the Trees Cocktails he wanted to study. I am excited to have him on the team.-LB

We got low enough on Pink Slip and Theme Music that I went ahead and made a batch of each. Counts have been updated. - IP

R&D comp checks:

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
To Rise coming tomorrow, US foods coming tomorrow. -LB

Maintenance:
The glycol unit seems to be steadily leaking glycol, if they can take a look at it when they move it during Dumbwaitergate.-LB
Needs to be added to maintenance doc: dry deck for TREES dirty glassware needs to be tightened, possibly bent back into shape.-LB

Ice machines are mad about the humidity. Trees lounge was not making ice for a good while during the dinner round, but then got back on track and should be good for tomorrow. The lobby machine was also acting up, and I reset it around 9:30 - definitely get some eyes on it tomorrow morning to make sure it's operational. - IP
