Manager Communication:

Water filters in Tree's were not fresh... so I changed all of them. Now they are fresh. - AB2

Andrey came up the the MOD around 10:15pm to tell me about Mamadou's hand. I printed him an incident report that is in Jess's folder. I know he was on the phone working on coverage for him. More on this from kitchen I assume.-LB

I need to make Val a new hire folder, I would love to get a walk-through of this. -LB

Some questions from servers towards the end of the night regarding what to do with their dish racks etc, just wondering if there is a guide for no main elevator service for Theaters 4/6.-LB

Hit Bar prep with drain cleaner and fruit fly killer. Hit Theater1/2 sinks/floor drains with drain enzymes.-LB

The fly light next to the lobby ice machine is not plugged in due to the grinder and the new ice machine fan taking up that outlet. Natasha and I tried to have the grinder reach the other outlet but it was too short. Unsure if we want an extension cord for this.-LB

Customer Comments: Some people were looking for some regular happy hour prices at Trees, something to consider for the school year but I would say the happy hour specials have helped fill out our clientele at Trees Lounge.-LB

BAR Staff Observations: Charlie is settling in. It was nice seeing him behind the bar with Nia. I think having this new batch of bartenders will help reinforce all of the procedures for the bar team.  Natasha got right into it with Nia. 

FOH Staff Observations: Siete was super helpful bringing ice down to lobby bar when Trees was busy and I needed to help bartend for the Clueless push.  Sara super on it today. Thursdae super feisty for trays. -LB

Hiring/Training:

Nia came in today... EARLY, which is fresh. I like an early trainee!!

Nia was onboarded and I got all her stuff signed and sent to Jess & Rebecca. She needs to bring a passport/social security card on her next shift though. - AB2

Natasha also noted her newness, so I think we need to be really clear with Nia with procedural corrections even of the most mundane as she has less experience. Natasha gave her a very thorough showing of what it means to close down Trees lounge well.-LB

  

Nia got a bunch of tours today, orientation from Carly. She is a diligent person taking notes.-LB

I did observe some super newbie vibes from Nia. She might need just a basic tutorial for bar stuff. I will set aside some time to go over specific stuff that she may not have come across at her other jobs. I know Natasha showed her the ropes on some stuff, but there is always more to know.-LB

Maintenance: The Trees ice machine was not making ice. I harvest reset it a few times, I will keep checking on it. 

The ice machine in lobby is in a bad state. I have been resetting it and babying it all shift. It dropped ice a few times, but it keeps giving code 3, which is low water flow. The odd thing about this later in the night was the water dumping inside the ice bin and pouring into the grate on the floor at a rate I have never seen from a working ice machine.  I turned it off so it would stop running water through it. Will check on it first thing, but we may need Dio or an exorcist to deal with the situation. -LB

Mobilebytes Issues: printer in lobby was offline for a bit, Wyatt helped me out so I could continue to troubleshoot ice machine.-LB
