Manager Communication:
I have been unable to find the hose behind either bar. If y'all know where it's at, please lemme know. I've just been taking them apart. - AB2  Gus, I want to order us a new one, I will confer with you tomorrow-LB


Customer Comments: So some folks got trapped in the elevator to Trees as I was putting the Out of order sign on it.  I think painting the front to say "Trees Lounge" would help mitigate the ADA folks from getting stuck in the wrong elevator. Everyone was super lovely about it and we got them passes and drinks. Nothing like a mini-horror scene before a horror film.-LB

BAR Staff Observations: Greg was a champion of service sticking out a long one with pops all over the place. Restocking without the elevator and all. Gabrielle was a calming force in the lobby. Patrick kicking ass at Trees all night both in service and front facing. -LB 

FOH Staff Observations: A few times this week drinks have been sitting at Trees waiting for servers, they assume someone else grabbed them (feedback from one server). I think we need a feedback loop for this issue so that guests get their drinks in a timely manner while they are still good.  Often when I walkie or bring the items to the theater service station, they are just talking to each other. I do not think that the servers aren't busting their buns, because they are, but I think it is hard for them to know if something is waiting, always happy to ping the theater but don't want that to be ill-received.-LB

Hiring/Training: Chelsea seemed to be getting a great introduction to NH from Carly. -LB

Maintenance: We have not heard back from  All day and nite regarding the service call for Trees Lounge doors (among other possible maintenance) and I first touched base with them mid July. We have the parts, they just don't call me back to schedule the appointment or the maintenance. And since they are very flaky, I would like to have Dio come in to take a look at the leaking condensers in the lowboys rather than this company before it gets worse.-LB

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
