Friday 08.08.25 Jenn/Ian/Ariel

Manager Communication:
Steady opening on this beautiful Friday. Jenn was an inventory machine and Tevon got the walk-in stocked and rocked for the weekend. Ariel came in and got things all ready to go for the busy evening with the Engagement Party and the Skip the Line event.

We were running low on Collins, Rocks, and Water cups today. We broke out some water cups. Rocks we were able to manage but keep in mind for tomorrow because we may have to bring some out.
Can we order some more Collins glasses? We did not have any backups. The only Collins glasses we had were the different ones in the liquor room labeled "do not use." AB2

BAR Staff Observations:
Patrick got Trees set up and rolled through an easy morning until Matt got in. Tevon batched up the world and then opened lobby and cruised til Gab came in. Family meal musical chairs was smooth and we were set for the night quickly and efficiently. - IP
Matthew and Natasha were absolutely phenomenal in Trees. We bodied a busy TH1 rush and a full bar simultaneously straight Gangsta Boogie style. - AB2

FOH Staff Observations:
Siete was super helpful during the Tree's rush. They were helping me with everything I needed! Big shoutout to them tonight. Shae was all over the building helping out staff today. She definitely killed it. Jeremy was such a team player in TH1. Filling any holes in service necessary in order to have a smoother service. - AB2

Special Events?
The Event was awesome. They were a fun crowd and wanted to hang afterwards. Tree's was poppin' and we had a good time. Natasha and Matthew absolutely killed it. I used the Charles and Charles for the Rose for the party and had it rang in as $9 Wine stub. - AB2

Prep List:
There was a small snafu with the batching of the Freakier Friday special today - Tevon misread the recipe and added 3x the amount of cranberry by accident, so we tripled the whole batch. Hopefully it moves fast enough we don't have to worry about it - but we are loaded up and do not need to batch that possibly ever again! - IP

Old Fashioned kicked. I cleaned out the keg and we set to batch it whenever y'all see fit. - AB2

Lost & Found?:
Ari lost a Tote bag with a dog on it in Tree's. We did not see it. Their number is (347)372-6322.
Gigi Silver lost white airpods... number is (786)556-0480. - AB2

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Received US Foods. - IP
We received a couple lil funnels for bar. I left them on the table in the prep area. They are in small square white boxes. - AB2

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
