Manager Communication: Will work on scheduling a bar deep clean. Oddly enough today our Trees Lounge ice machine sprung a refrigerant leak. Unsure if this is related to anything, a copper pipe popped a hole. Gus knows and will be trying to reach Ice Medic. We can have them top off refrigerant while they are here on the frozen machines perhaps. We have the machine off. The hole is taped, although it will likely still leak all the freon. The front panel is just held on with gaffer's tape at the moment.  I did notice the water in the building seems extraordinarily hot today. I don't know if that had anything to do with this, I doubt it would be an issue but just flagging it in case a temperature differential had something to do with it. -LB

Received a big delivery of glassware and was able to get it all stored away in the liquor room at the end of the night. We should be all good to go with pint glasses for a good while! Aside from the coolant leak in the ice machine, things were super solid tonight. - IP

BAR Staff Observations: 

Tevon did another great training day with Jericho. -LB

Trivia was rippin' as per usual and the team was up for the challenge. We swapped Tevon and Patrick, but Patrick ended up coming up and helping out a lot later than I anticipated. The bar was two deep for most of trivia and the floor was full capacity - so the help was warranted and made everything a lot smoother. Greg is quite affable and always brings a nice open energy to his interactions in the lobby. Was a good night all around.

FOH Staff Observations:

Kat, Shane and Sabrina stood out as busting their humps today. Consistently doing awesome work all around - kudos. - IP

Hiring/Training: Jericho here for day 2, crushing it in the lobby. 

I met Jericho briefly but can concur with everything that everyone is saying - dude is clearly a pro, is already taking initiative in a smart and logical way, and will fit right in here. He said he was still getting the hang of Filmbot, so maybe we can use one of his training days to focus heavily on selling tix - but he's gonna be a great addition to the team. - IP

Tevon threw together an Old-fashioned keg, a couple FWWM and a couple Lemonades. I made another batch of unsweetened iced tea, and I transferred the already-made Margarita in the cambro to the freshly cleaned keg - ready to go for tomorrow. Otherwise everything looks to be in really good shape. - IP
