Manager Communication: 

Just reiterating the difficulty of pulling down the full racks at max height. If it helps to make sure there are more dollies downstairs at the end of the night, bar managers can make sure of that.-LB

I erroneously rang in some items at Trees Lounge and had to void them to rering them at the correct price. Gil, I was wondering if there is a way to have happy hour discount in the discount button to fix these mistakes without having to void and rering/don't make. Thanks. 

Vlad showed me some flies in the lobby trying to go out the window. There are clear sticky fly traps that could catch them, but I wonder if children will just get stuck to them? I put in an order for more of the fly killing traps to put around as we get to hotter weather.-LB 

Glassware circulation was a little better tonight - but as we approach the double-whammy of Lilo and Stitch and Mission Impossible, coupled with (I assume) moving Sinners and Thunderbolts to the smaller theaters more regularly, we are going to have sold out theaters on every floor and pre-bussing is going to become ESSENTIAL. We're already barely treading water when we have back to back sold out 1's and 2's - but throw in sold out smaller theaters and it's going to reach a breaking point if we're not on top of clearing empty glassware throughout the film - rather than waiting to clear everything until credits roll, necessitating a mad dash to clean all the glassware and redistribute it before (but more often than not DURING) the next rush. We've been able to get by thus far, but we will have halts in service if we get even slightly busier than we are now (and that is definitely going to happen with this summer slate of movies). So, kindly take a moment to remind the servers that yes, we understand it can be annoying and sometimes scary to clear stuff from their guests' tables, but it is an expectation and it needs to be getting done with more consistency. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:

Staff was great tonight. Big shout out to Nat who went above and beyond with cleaning up after batching - she SCRUBBED the Lowboy and when she was done, the prep area was spotless. 100% Lead Behavior. Jericho, Greg and Jeshua make a formidable team. Greg was in the cockpit and Jericho was the co-pilot, and Jeshua did great with the guests at Trees. Greg and Jericho work in a very similar rhythm (they're both drummers, makes sense) and will be a very good team for bonkers service rushes if we schedule them together at Trees. Darius did a great job in the lobby - the sales grew steadily throughout the evening and there was a lot of foot traffic, and he handled what turned into sold out showings really well. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:

Erika rules. She was all over the building tonight and always has such a great way of mitigating stressful situations with humor and calm. A real pleasure to work with. - IP

Hiring/Training: 

Jericho is fully on boarded. 25/26 on the quiz, Ian went over his incorrect answer.  All the paperwork is done, but he still needs to do the ADP sexual harassment thing. Rebecca said she would send it when he is live. -LB

Jericho is doing an excellent job. Just a total pro. Very happy to have him on board. He and Greg are an outstanding team at the service pass. - IP

I made a back to the jungle, Natasha two lemonades and a firewalk. Can't make anymore Firewalk until we get more lime juice tomorrow, should not be a problem. -LB

Will need a Rebel with a cause keg made tomorrow. Continuing the deep cleaning of cocktail kegs as they come off the line.-LB

Finished cleaning the keg Lauren was soaking - also made some more unsweetened iced tea. - IP

Maintenance:  

The ADA stall at Trees lounge needs to be rescrewed to the frame. It made it impossible to lock the door this morning. I installed a screw as a temporary fix but it is not well-fitted.-LB
