Manager Communication:   Reinforcing bartenders to have Trees bus tub for runners. There are garbage can lids there now.

I agree with Matt Soler's idea of scheduling closers at 4-4:30 so the restock can happen before family meal and the dinner rush. It would be pragmatic.-LB

Holy hell, today was insane. Glad I misread my in-time so I could stick around to support the team.-LB

There was a lot of juggling we had to do today to make things run effectively. I came in two hours early, Rebecca pulled a double, Lauren opened and stayed til almost 9p, and then Dion and I were the only closers. In order to avoid more than one bartender pulling a 10+ hour shift (Gab, who is incredible), we ran with just Jericho (who also came in early) at Trees and Jeshua at lobby, after I cut Greg around 9p. The scheduling was too light for a holiday Monday with an 11a open time (and major ticket sales), but there really was nothing to be done about it - so I ended up jumping between both bars to help out when necessary. I dusted off the bartender brain and handled the Scanners service rush so that Jericho could help guests at the bar. We make a good team! Jeshua was, as per usual, excellent in the lobby, which was great because I had to help with the last flip in theater 7. I felt a little stretched thin tonight, but everyone was doing a great job and service never faltered. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:  Maya has personal items in the dry deck behind the bar which is expressly prohibited. I would like to have a session to discuss the purpose of expo and why I ask for things when I do, because she doesn't want to listen or let me pull tickets. Perhaps if she understands why, then we can get her to a place of being worthy of the service well.-LB

Maya also was observed putting the wrong garnish in negroni, which changed in the fall. She also leaves rags everywhere. I recommend she take the DOH program to understand compliance. -LB

As noted above, Gab and Greg are the MVP's today. Gab pulled an open to 7:30 monster shift in the lobby and was, even after the insanity of the weekend, wonderfully cheerful with not only the guests, but also her coworkers, which really lifted the spirits of everyone she interacted with. Greg was awesome in Trees - he's so game to just help out wherever makes sense and always gets the job done efficiently and with a good attitude. Same with Jericho - super calm demeanor is great to have here when things can get high stress. Everyone was on it tonight. I am exhausted. - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:

Bartender email: A back up Cobra Chai bottle is required so staff can wash BY hand the crew bottles and rotate them. It is gross. Also please mention that hand washing the crew bottles is required. I ordered a bottle brush I am going to find a way to keep out of the way. 

We need to have a full NPP bar staff meeting as soon as we can just to reiterate some things and make clear some expectations that are currently being farmed out to bar MOD's or floor MOD's when not always necessary - IP
