The Menu Film feast is gonna be fun. -LB

Good bar meeting today - hashed out some menu change finalization. I got the lobby bubbler emptied of Can You Dig It?, washed the chamber and put 4qt of Tea in it to test and see how it looks tomorrow morning after a night of aeration. FWIW I think it's gonna be just fine and the bubbler is probably the best route for the tea going forward. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Trivia was a beast tonight - but it was tamed easily by Captain Maya and co. Darius and Tevon were excellent behind the bar and Patrick cruised in Lobby. We went through a decent chunk of old product for Trivia Specials - woohoo! - IP

Hiring/Training:
Looking forward to meeting some new applicants tomorrow! - IP

Special Events?
Trivia - as noted above. Shay has expressed a desire to accommodate more Trivia guests on the mezzanine with more seating, or better audio / video capabilities up there. I told her it's something we can work towards, but logistically could prove difficult. I'll chat with her more and see what she has in mind and see if we can make something happen. - IP

Prep List: 
Batched 2 lemondes, negroni keg, rebel keg. 2 bottles lillet rose ricotta infusion STRAIN TOMORROW 3PM. We have enough cordial for another rebel keg. -LB

Freeze-dried marshmallows and new cocktail jiggers arrived from Amazon.  I left them on the bitters shelf in the liquor room. JH
 
Maintenance:
Echoing some notes from before - the lowboy doors in Trees need some love. Tomorrow I can take a look at them, but I think the thing that would be the most effective would be a deeeeep clean of the door tracks - I think the doors are just getting stuck on gunk in the tracks. I'll take a better look tomorrow when I'm done cleaning the machines. - IP

The trivia specials buttons were a smashing success - thank you for making that happen! - IP

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
