Manager Communication:
Gus and I got the kegs in the walk-in all sorted and looking good. We also batched up all the drinks for the Shorts Fest party tonight. I got the machines all cleaned, and the Infinity and Beyond moved into the appropriate chambers. We have also moved the iced tea into the bubbler and the Can You Dig It into the empty ford's bottles. - IP
Got a good amount of stuff done today
BAR Staff Observations:
BAR Staff Observations:
Matthew and Greg got the place opened easy peasy. Gab and Jeshua got in and then Bryan shortly after to help out with the party. - IP
Greg was able to help Jeshua through the dinner round Mickey 17 in Th3, then he was able to get out of here once both bars were restocked and Jeshua closed downstairs without issue. Bryan, Gabrielle, and Matthew absolutely crushed the event, and Gus left us set up with plenty of batches and build sheets. Very smooth evening at both bars. JH

FOH Staff Observations:
Just wanted to give Anthony a shout out, which I meant to write yesterday. He is truly such a positive and helpful presence, and I have seen him offer help to both coworkers and guests without needing to be prompted. Just an all-around good dude with a good attitude during service. JH

Shorts Fest Opening Night!
Opening Night screening and after-party went well! As mentioned above, Gus had us batched and ready for the crowd, and they definitely showed up ready for some complimentary bevvies. All the bartenders were set and ready for the party crowd, and service went really smoothly.
I had them ring in the cocktails on a check that I later voided, just for us to get a sense of which cocktails were more popular and how many were being sold. Around ten I batched up both Always After Me and Summarily Dismissed, as we were almost out of them behind the bar, and we ran out of Equestrian Quandary justttttt as eleven o'clock rolled around. All back up product is in a labeled bus bin in the walk-in next to the coconut water.
I closed out the tab to NSF tenders as directed on the Event Memo, but realized I had forgotten to ask if we were meant to include tax on that check. I printed two copies of the tab, one with and one without tax, and then closed it to tenders without tax. Both checks are in my mailbox, if we need to go in and add in the tax amount. My apologies for any confusion. JH

Pay Outs:
$150- DJ
$100- Kaya GS
These Pay Outs were never entered at Trees, and I only realized after the checkout report was printed. I can run the pay outs tomorrow, if that is okay. Otherwise, bank math was fine. JH
