Manager Communication: Gus, Jeshua and I would like to do a port/sherry tasting/tutorial with you to learn more about this stuff. Perhaps this would be cool to set up for the bar team.-LB
By the miraculous chance we got the new Nic Cage movie, The Surfer, I have a cocktail ready to go.-LB
Gus  I didn't see the Laphroaig in liquor room.-LB
I have been slowly discarding the Puree lids from our stock since they usually fall off and cause the spills. I have ordered more lids for the store n pours we have. -LB
Curious if anyone has watered the plants at Trees, they were quite swamped and I haven't watered them in a few weeks. Just trying to keep them going as best I can. Lmk if you know anything. Thanks.-LB

BAR Staff Observations:
Natasha may need an official warning to not be on her phone when on the clock. Particularly bartenders during batching or restock, it is not an opportunity to just stand around.-LB
*I asked Natasha to not be on her phone when on the clock, even though she was looking something up for a customer. -LB
Assigned Patrick to Swing/lounge tonight to just reinforce the muscle memory of the position.-LB

Sinners keeps crushing and we had a back to back sold out theater 2 right into a sold out theater 1. The first rush was poetry in motion. Greg was in the service well, Patrick was the swing/lounge, and Jeshua was holding down the bar. Greg is excellent at the service pass. He communicates very thoroughly and loudly, and has really gotten the hang of expo'ing drinks to his support in a way that streamlines service. For the next rush, I swapped Patrick and Greg so Greg could start getting things in order before he left. Theater 1 is obviously larger, and the rush was relentless, but there was a noticeable difference in the ease with which we were able to handle the rush. Patrick was not communicating, and he was also considerably slower at pumping out sodas and well drinks. I know he obviously isn't purposefully obfuscating service, but I have noticed consistent reticence to do as he is told. Specifically at the pass when I expo, he seems to disregard what I say and make what he thinks makes the most sense, and that has led to confusion and near double makes (fortunately, only one pilsner tonight that we were able to send out shortly thereafter). I will make a point to stress to everyone, but most importantly Patrick, that when I (or any manager) is expo-ing, the bar team needs to trust that what we are asking them to make is going to make everything run smoother. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Kayah was awesome tonight. So was LaShae. The drink support for the Sinners rushes was on point this evening. Excellent work! - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
organization, cart, restock clean ups, DOH. -LB

86ed / counts on items:
We searched high and low, but alas, we are indeed out of Laphroaig 10.
I could not find any more Jameson in the liquor room. Down to the last couple bottles behind the bars.
We have a good amount of bottles in the walk-in/lowboys, but we are out of backup cases of Cab Franc in the liquor room.

Prep List:
I had Natasha do the OF Keg. Back in the jungle, 2 FWWM, arbol tequila.
I made Grapefruit cordial, double Tang syrup, pineapple molasses syrup. -LB
We need back up cheaters for Angel Eyes and Pistolero. We also will need more Can You Dig It-then poured into Fords bottles, probably on the edge of an empty Margarita keg and will need another with this nice weather coming through.-LB

I like the idea of batching certain drinks (Back in the Jungle/Infinity) and just divvying them up into 4 quarts so they are ready to take. I also think doing this with film specials in 2 quarts would prevent the overstocking/overbatching possibility.  This also makes the shelves tidy for FIFO.-LB

Absolutely love this idea. I made a batch of Can You Dig it and divvied it up into Ford's bottles - also made cheaters for Pistolero and Angel Eyes. Kicked a margarita and Moneypenny keg tonight - so that should get taken care of tomorrow for sure. I put a little list on the dry-erase board, but everything should be good to go for open tomorrow! - IP

Over/Short on Banks:
Lobby bar drawer was over by $5 inexplicably - Kayla is aware and can hopefully get to the bottom of it. - IP

Pay Outs:
$9.23 7076 -LB

Lost & Found?:
DINGLE - Lost gold AMEX card in Trees on 4/19 - put in CC box with label. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods coming tomorrow. (2 DC, 1 Coke, 1 RB, lime juice)
Baldor coming tomorrow-LB

Mobilebytes Issues:
The Empirical Doritos is priced at 0.00 on the POS. -LB
It has been requested from Patrick that "Orange glass" be changed to Orange wine glass or some variation. In a busy brunch push it can be perceived as orange juice by the brain.-LB
