Manager Communication:  I am ordering a flat dish rack to put in the dry storage at the end of Trees. This can be the storage for the roll-ups. I would also like to get us a small cabinet with draws or bookshelf  to put under the POS there. It is sort of unused space that we could store receipt paper, trivia stuff, garnish stuff. I am going to measure and with permission I can make this happen. Space behind that bar is precious and I am sick of finding random quart containers with stuff. -LB

So apparently there are new door locks on the front doors. There are keys to lock the bottom things that prevent the door from opening. This information was not passed on to any bar managers and we open and close regularly. If anyone wants to keep us looped in on that protocol. Also the exit bank of doors are seemingly having difficulties when leaving. They feel magnetically locked and you can force yourself out but it feels awkward, if someone more attuned to those doors could investigate. Thank you. -LB

Added nu foam items to bevager so I could order some from To Rise. Also ordered a soap pump from Amazon for the liquid detergent, they don't have the powder anymore. -LB

Gil can you make a button for UNSWEETENED ICED TEA. I made some so if people want Iced Tea before Friday they have an option. And we can serve Arnold Palmers.  -LB

BAR Staff Observations: 

Cut Natasha around 3pm. Went over payouts with Greg. -LB

There was a nice after movie crowd right when I got in that lasted til a little before 6p - which is when we got Greg outa here.  Jeshua and Patrick handled a good Sunday night bar crowd and a couple of big service pushes. Got Patrick outta here a little before 10p. The lobby was totally manageable all night and Darius flew the bar solo from 5:30p on. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:

Mentioned this in training the other day, but Kat is KILLIN' IT.

New(ish) security guard Justin is excellent. So on top of everything and a great conversationalist to boot! - IP

Hiring/Training:

Brea is back! Yay! She's awesome - jumped right back in, no rust at all. - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 

I have an idea for bar glassware layout that I want to run by the team. - LB

I showed some love to the Prep area today when I had a chunk of time. It was pretty gnarly - just wanna get everyone on the same page about keeping that area clean - it can get easily forgotten, or at best not thoroughly cleaned, and whenever DOH comes by, we don't want to have to make a mad dash there and have a bunch of scrubbing to do. - IP

86ed / counts on items: Princes of Maine until new cider arrives tomorrow. Hudson, Ommegang, Cigar City, Rockaway. Peach Sweet Tea and Arnold Palmer. We can put Arnold back on tomorrow.-LB

Prep List: 

Made half of painkiller, cherry lime slushie. Unsweetened tea, available after it is strained tomorrow. -LB

Tomorrow will need Bloody Mary Mix, Simple Syrup and DMC(?), but otherwise lookin' good til the ol' switcheroo. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 

Asked Matty to order us cocktail napkins and 6 inch skewers. 

Baldor and To Rise coming tomorrow. Also a fedex with black peppercorns. -LB

We got bulk cinnamon and I ordered 3 cases of pilsner glasses. -LB

Maintenance: 

I mounted a glove box holder in the dish pit at Trees so managers have access when we need to do filthy things. -LB

Around 11:45 the emergency light inside the theater 2 server station mysteriously turned on. No other emergency lights turned on that I was made aware of or found, but nothing interrupted any screenings. Just something to take a look at tomorrow or this week. - IP
 
Mobilebytes Issues:

The printer at the far end of the bar at Trees Lounge is still not operational, and we have the tickets rerouted to print from the printer attached to the cash drawer. Not sure if we have another printer we can sub in, or if we have to get a new one, but sooner rather than later it would be good to have another working POS printer at Trees. - IP
