Manager Communication:
Wyatt and I opened up the building to much fanfare and applause. Discussed prep for the Oscars party this evening. I took a minute to organize the liquor room shelves a little bit - made some space within our menagerie of random bottles to have a proper red wine shelf again. - IP
Hot water not a consistent presence in the dish pit this evening. -LB 
I brought a Fiddle leaf fig cutting to Trees Lounge.  I would like to get a more decorative pot for it at IKEA and grab possible a few taller trees to go in the corner. Will send an email about it with pricing details.  
Dwight is just the greatest greeter/security guard there is. We are so lucky to have him.-LB

BAR Staff Observations:
Bryan and Maya crushed their openings and opening rounds - aided immensely by a very thorough close from last night's bar team - well done, y'all! Ticket sales jumped up for the second round nicely, and when Patrick got in I swung him up to Trees to help Bryan out. - IP
Bryan stuck around through the insane pre-party rush to make sure everything was covered. Everyone was busy and pulling their weight. I will be hitting the entire bar team with tokens to thank them for their hard work. -LB

FOH Staff Observations: Servers for all theaters were hustling and supporting each other through this difficult event. Well-deserved praise for everyone. -LB

Prep List:
I got us prepped for the Oscars party this morning - followed the plan laid out in the email - so we have a full batch of the Anora special, a half batch of the Brutalist special, and a half batch of Positively 4th Street (plus the quart+ still in the lowboy for Mystery Cocktail). I made an extra FWWM to make sure we have plenty. and also a CLS as we had no backup in the walkin - also got us up on ore arbol tequila, honey syrup and simple syrup. - IP

Maintenance:
Checked the ice machines first thing when I got in, and they're both full and seem to be operating at 100%. Definitely keep an eye on them throughout service, but we're A-ok for the evening at very least. - IP
The Ice Medic team arrived. They are starting in on lobby. I gave them a tour to the kitchen and upstairs. I do think this is a big building to get lost in. -LB

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
