We are very low on Beverage Napkins. Matty placed the order and we should be getting them either today or tomorrow so keep your eyes out for em. - AB2

FYI, while To Rise does not have a minimum order, they do charge 6.95 service fee everytime we order, which probably makes some of these items similar price to other vendors. -LB

I ordered pink sanding sugar and we have silver luster dust for the Death of a Unicorn drink.-LB

Around 10:40pm Dion went out to take a break and observed a man slumped over passed out on the sidewalk in front of our building.  James called 911 and an ambulance was on the way.  James told me he was breathing.  Justin was outside as well. I grabbed gloves, checked his pulse and squeezed a pressure point on his hand to help him wake up. He had a bottle of whiskey in a bag. 

He had been in a movie but did not drink anything purchased from us. Greg said he had been out there earlier in the day begging for someone to buy him a movie ticket. FDNY came by and we established that he was happy to go to the hospital. He lives in the Bronx and was a little unsure where he lived. Ambulance came and took it from there. -LB

BAR Staff Observations: Lydia asked me for a roll up, to find only one in the tray. I instructed her that this is a requirement of the post, as per the bar email last week. Her face indicated that she didn't read it or was unaware that doing her job is part of her job. -LB

Patrick was rude to a guest, as observed by Dion. The guest is Vlad's date tonight. They came to the bar for a Long Island iced tea, Patrick rudely explained we don't serve them.  She then ordered a lemon drop and he was rude. Now I am all for making fun of people who order these two drinks, in a cheeky social manner, but you then of course serve them with a smile.  Dion has observed Patrick being expressly rude to people of color.  I am going to speak with him later about his snippy attitude. It will not be tolerated. 

I am disappointed that he would be rude to Vlad's friend as Patrick just yesterday spilled a 4   quart container of Princess Problems, asked me to walkie for Vlad to bring a mop.  Vlad cleaned up the spill with bar rags, as Patrick should have. I will remind him that it is a privilege to have a porter as helpful as Vlad and it is unacceptable to treat his friend this way. I instructed Dion to let them know I would be happy to make them something fun and special after their film. -LB 

I spoke to Patrick regarding the above, unsure the note landed well. I also followed it up by telling him about the Lead Bartender position not going to him. He replied "I know, I've known for weeks it is going to Gabrielle." I asked him how he knew that and he didn't really say much. He said he would be looking for a second job now since he isn't getting a raise. I tried to express to him how much he is valued here but he was in no mood to hear it. So he may have a reduced availability but this also may just be a reaction to the bad news. -LB

Maintenance:  Once again I fell down the stairs to Theater 5, probably because I was coming from the kitchen. I skiied down the stairs bracing myself with my forearm hard enough to pull paint off the wall but fortunately I kept upright.  I do think it is time to replace the sand paper tape going down the stairs to Theater 5. -LB
