Just gonna throw another hail mary up here for getting some more visibility on the mezzanine. Occasionally popping up there to admonish the twenty-somethings who cannot keep themselves from vaping is not doing anything. Unless we come up with a more Draconian 86ing procedure for anyone caught vaping/bringing in outside drink and food (which is going to alienate a large portion of our regular pool table using clientele - which tbh I am not at all against, as I don't think a young crowd with underage friends and no money to spend are the crowd we want anyway) I fear we will continue to embolden the already frustrating population of 21-25 year olds to bring in more of their underage friends and continue to break the rules. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Swung Lydia up to Trees around 6:15 to help with a very good pre-Mississippi Masala crowd coupled with the happy hour cocktail specials. Got her out a little before 8p, and Bryan and Darius cruised at Trees from then on. Tevon was great in lobby - noticed he seems to be making the effort to be a little more outgoing when greeting guests. - IP

Special Events? 
Trees Lounge Happy hour was a big success. Not bad for a Tuesday. -LB
Agreed. We are already seeing a great upswing in business at Trees, and events like this will only help word of mouth spread. - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Was chatting with Jose about drop times and last calls in the theater - I had an idea that has probably been brought up before, but what if we had a way to signal to the audience that last call for food and drinks has arrived and it's time to put up that flag if you want anything else? I'm imagining an "APPLAUSE" type light box that just says "LAST CALL" that we flash at the last call time. Install it out of the way, above one of the top corners of the screen, that way it's not super distracting, just a gentle reminder that now is the time. Or, maybe a red light bulb that flashes dimly in the corner, with a title card in the preshow that explains "When you see this red flashing light (insert light cue for demonstration, cute 1950's style instructional video), it means it's your last call for drinks and snacks!" This might encourage an uptick in late in the movie ordering and ideally help clear out the time for the servers to know that drinks and food are dropped and done, and now all that's left to do is close out checks. Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
