Manager Communication:

Wyatt and I got the building up and working without issue. I took some time to straighten up the liquor room before doors opened. -IP

I suggest we add Raspberry herbal tea to the menu change and take off the Orange Pekoe. It is caffeine free so we will have a second option to peppermint. -LB

I took the lock components from the door locking experiment, I put them in a to-go box and left outside of MOD-LB

Bryan reorganized some items in the Trees Lounge fridge. Will take a photo with labels to send to staff once we all agree on the layout. We can discuss this at our bar meeting. 

I also think moving the POS to the bitters area would be prudent if we have the outlets. 

We can put a bar mat down to discourage people from sitting there. I would get a small bookshelf to put in that spot and we could keep bitters, back up paper goods etc.  -LB

Just want to give a big shout-out to the team from last night - the bars and prep areas were spotless this morning, and neither opener had much to do to get themselves ready to start the day because of how thoroughly Jeshua and Darius closed - just props to going above and beyond being down a closing bar manager. - IP
Bryan really is a self-starter. He is doing a primo Trees Lounge clean out.  We cleared out some stuff that sits around. I want to have more than one stirring tin in the refrigerator so we moved the bar tools to a new vessel. -LB

Bryan lowered two of the Trees shelves at my ask, so we can see what is on them easier. There were items well past expiration the other day.-LB

I reorganized and decluttered the "Random New Liquors", [Unnamed Random Open Bottle Shelf], and  the Batching Product shelves today. Lydia had a good idea regarding the random bottles we have accumulating on that top shelf - maybe we do Trees special cocktails that the bar team can come up with to make a one-off batch of something, utilizing a bottle from that shelf. We sell it at a markdown at Trees as a Bartender's Special of the Week. Doesn't have to be anything crazy - could just be re-works of past faves - I dunno, something to ponder! - IP

Ian and I tried to diagnose the 2001 Lightbox in Trees lounge. We suspect the lights still work since we tried another electrical source. However we could not get into the area in the bench that we need to.  Will approach Matthew about this tomorrow. I have ordered a possible replacement part that could solve the issue.-LB

Curious if we might find out which of the bank holidays we have to work and which ones we will have off so that we can plan our PTO for the year. I know we filled out those surveys, just curious if we will find out.-LB 

I assume this has to do with the Lobby bartenders helping get Trees Lounge up to speed at opening, however there was a tower of glassware in the Trees elevator at 9:15pm. My only conc  ern with this is if a guest needs the elevator. We really need to make sure the glassware doesn't just stay in the elevator.-LB

 I labeled the dolly the above glassware was on as Trash, it is terrible. I brought a new one down to Trees. There were no porters here and I am too tired to be wandering around.

Maintenance: I believe the door stop for the soda closet came in and is at Lobby bar for Juan to install. I put it in Juan's closet with a note, he is also going to hang some posters in Trees Lounge tomorrow, possibly before I arrive. -LB
