Manager Communication:
BAR Staff Observations:
Pretty mellow Friday first round, with PSP at Trees being the main source of bar guests. JH
Erika placed an order for the Just Roar but add Tequila. I was happy to make it for her and the guest but Matthew and I were unsure if this was something we were able to do or not. I have no problem doing an N/A movie special with alcohol as a 1 and 1 but wanted to verify with everyone else because there was a bit of confusion. - AB2
Gabrielle brought to my attention that we should bring up DOH protocol to bar staff because we have a lot of new staff and it would not hurt for a refresher. I agree with her. - AB2
We had guests in Tree's order food at 11:39 and the kitchen was done. The cue sheet stated that last call was at 11:45 and Kitchen close at midnight. I understand when kitchen wants to close earlier and it is slow but I think it should be a thing where kitchen walkie's that they are doing last call. Last week I had a similar issue where guests wanted to order food and the kitchen did not answer my call and when I went down, they were cleaning. - AB2
Is this something we can make happen where the kitchen states last call/close over walkie so that we are all aware of when things are done? I think it will be beneficial for everyone working FOH. - AB2

Had a situation where Patrick denied tickets to three guests as they were past the fifteen minute showtime cut off. However, the guests had been on line behind other guests, so were upset since they had arrived before the cut off time. Unfortunately, Patrick did not call for a manager and the guests were very upset when they left. Shortly after they left we received a voicemail from them where they said that they felt that they had been denied tickets because they were unfairly profiled by Nitehawk staff. Specifically, they felt that Islamophobia had influenced the decision. Jared spoke to Patrick and reiterated that managers should be brought in for such guest interactions, and I added the note to Patrick's 7Shifts. JH
BAR Staff Observations:
Due to tickets sales, we offered a cut to the three closers. Natasha took it, and I updated 7Shifts. JH
Everyone was great tonight. Bryan stayed and helped out in Tree's during the Brutalist rush and Patrick was in Tree's while Matthew and I were batching and when we finished batching he did a restock and dipped. Matthew and Gabrielle were awesome as usual. - AB2

Had a chance to speak with Susan from PSP, and she shared some ideas she had for future NPP infant screenings. She did make the point that since Alamo employees are still on strike that their infant screenings have been impacted, so perhaps we could entice some newbies over to either NH location. She did say she thought an earlier showtime (12:00pm/1:00pm) would be more helpful than a 4:00pm showtime, so I don't know how malleable we can be with regards to that request. But definitely something for us to look into. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
We may need to change the water filters at both bars in the near future, as they are coming up on two months. If we have issues with the soda running flat this weekend, the filters will be the most likely culprit. JH

Maintenance:
Maintenance:
Ariel, Wyatt, and myself did some finagling with the lines in the walk-in, and we have Narragansett running back on its original line, and Cigar City is hooked back up to its line (we made sure to run all the remaining Narragansett through before hooking up the Cigar City). I was able to talk to someone from Draft Choice, as they did not make it in today, and they advised us to keep an eye on it, especially when changing kegs. JH
Filmbot Issues:
Bartenders now need a manager pin to sell MubiGo passes, which was not the case before. Can we change the permissions back for them? JH
