Wednesday 1.15 Lauren/Ian/Jenn
Manager Communication: I would like to propose come menu change that we add another decaffeinated tea to the roster, since Peppermint does so well.
So it seems that the company that makes the frozen machines yet again sent us a piece that is too short. I have taken a picture of the pieces side by side to show them. The elmeco model FC2Green serial #220704873. Happy to correspond with them. Or maybe we did get the guts and they went in a machine already but either way we are down a long rotor. -LB* I emailed their tech support email with the photos, model number and how we need the correct part.
Ian and I were discussing batching and that batching the lion share of a recipe, putting a sticker over the edge that notes the amount of citrus ingredient needs to go in before it goes out. That way we don't run the risk of being far past the time frame of it being optimal. -LB

Ian and I stacked the kegs. I put the empty cocktail kegs on the shelf where the Athletic had been to give us a little more room in there since I am always moving them around to be out of the way.-LB
So the mezzanine teen/preteen hangs have gotten a little rowdy and really boisterous. Ian spoke with Carly, Gil, Jared, and Rebecca about it. Having a customers only policy for Trees makes sense as we try to generate more happy hour spending in the bar. -LB
Jenn, might you remind the bartenders to poke around a little for batches before grabbing one. The reason I moved the N/A to the bottom shelf was so people could make sure to see everything, however two different Spirit of Comforts are now in the walk-in. This, also could have been Greg, since I was told he did a restock. I will highlight this to him.-LB
BAR Staff Observations:
Second round movies were pretty busy across all floors, so Tevon stuck around until the last service push petered out, and Matthew stuck around until about nine to get in a restock before clocking out. Patrick closed Lobby and then swung upstairs to help Gabrielle close out Trees. JH

Baldor coming tomorrow
Maintenance: The dishwasher basket was caked with gunk. And the water drain. So I excavated and bleached down the stainless steel outside the machine and took the arms out to clean them well. Ian and I will be adding this to our weekly cleaning routine.-LB

Ian fixed the broken chair in Trees.-LB
The touchpad on my Chromebook has kicked the bucket, anyone have Intel on this device? I can just get a wireless mouse but it is a touchscreen, just not super useful for trying to do a spreadsheet on COGS.-LB

A little creepy crawly baby cockroach hitched a ride on Gabrielle's coat (which she had hung on the railing by the Pavilion sign) and made it to the Th1/2 service pass. This happened well after last call and after Gabrielle had clocked out, so the service pass was clean and clear. It was smushed (not by me, do not rely on me in a bug situation) and had no friends that we could see, but we should definitely make sure the exterminator is checking those lockers when they come through.
Mobilebytes Issues: I like the idea of a new POS so we can to a sophisticated tracking of items that are in combination of things. Like True Grit/High life, Frizzante/spritz, etc.
