Manager Communication: 

Another busy holiday weekday, with plenty of the smaller theaters selling out before doors, and the big theaters not too far behind. Trees was pretty quiet in the morning, but filled up around 2:00pm. JH

Seconded. Trees stayed busy all night, and service pass was a blitzkrieg. Bar team barely even broke a sweat. Dani and James were awesome tonight - they made service smooth and easy and allowed me to focus on product management and of course the service passes when needed. Thanks, guys! - IP

Customer Comments: 

Had some guests at Trees Lounge return their Espresso Martinis early this evening, saying that they 'didn't like them.'  They were pretty laidback about it. JH

BAR Staff Observations: 

Bryan and Maya really set both bars up for success with their closes last night, so Matthew and Tevon were able to focus on glassware and bare restocks to get the day started.  Tevon ran Lobby solo like a champ, and Matthew crushed the first round rushes without even breaking a sweat.  When Bryan came in, both bars were able to restock and keep service moving. JH

Stayed very busy all night. Held onto Tevon until around 7, and Darius absolutely demolished the nearly fully sold out last round. Had Matthew do a but of batching, and Bryan and Gab did an excellent job with some extremely busy service pushes in the big theaters. Trees stayed busy all night and the Nosferatu service pushes are insaaaaane. So much for Dry January! This level of business required I hang onto Bryan way later than I wanted to - but he was totally game and never let up the great attitude he always brings. Very thankful to have him. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:

Quetzie is a boss. Abe is wonderfully thorough in his communication, and I really appreciate that. - IP

We have no backup Miller High Life or Tecate in the walk-in at the moment. Both bars are pretty well stocked - but if there isn't a delivery it might necessitate a count at some point tomorrow. - IP

Prep List: 

Momentary pause on batching the boozy drink specials, just until we get some more ingredients in stock.

-Positively 4th Street (Gus may be able to bring over some Bénédictine from NWB)

-Spirit of Comfort (need more egg substitute & Bloody Shiraz Gin)

-Elphaba's Elixir (need more St.Germain/Tarragon Gin).  

Both bars are stocked and we have back ups of each special in the walk in*, so we should be able to get those ingredients in before we need to 86 any of them. JH

Maintenance:

There are two ice buckets at trees lounge at the moment, and both of them are broken. One is missing the little plastic tab that allows it to hang on the wall, and the other's handle knob has broken, disallowing the metal handle to be affixed to the bucket. Not a big deal, but just wanted to make it known. - IP
