Manager Communication:

Comp meeting earlier today was great - then had another lil bar meeting with Gus and Lauren (we missed ya, Jenn and Ariel! Feel better, Jenn!) Gus tinkered with the bubblers and we're gonna try to get a little deeper into it tomorrow, time and business permitting. Lauren did a BUNCH of organizing (thank you!) and has upped our container game to the max. James is a phenomenal manager and was everywhere tonight, all the while making time to ask if there was anything he could help me with. What a mensch. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:

Bar team crushed tonight. Trivia was a breeze and even throwing a sold out theater one crowd in the middle of it didn't slow them down. Jeshua manned the lobby, and stuck around after trivia was over to help with the bar pop we had after Evil Dead let out. Truly everyone was on their game and they made it look easy. - IP

Special Events: 

Trivia & Evil Dead 2 screening / merch sales were HAPPENIN'. Trivia absolutely slayed again tonight, and the screening was nearly sold out. The rush being right in the heart of trivia could have been trying, but the bar team made easy work of it all. Tevon handled most of the floor, with assists from Darius and me, while Bryan crushed the sold out service rush on his own. Tevon killed it as our interim server with Maya on leave to do her show, Darius kept it fun and lively, guest-facing with the two-deep bar and Bryan was a drink making machine at the pass. The Brooklyn Horror people were lovely and waited patiently to set up their merch table until after we had reset from Trivia, and then a good chunk of their audience enjoyed a drink after the screening. Great night all around. - IP

Over/Short on Banks:
Trees was $37 over. Lobby's expected cash was, believe it or not, also $37 - BUT! Lobby had their drop accounted for. I went over the receipts and the checkouts, but couldn't figure it out. Someone must have made change out of the tip jar and forgotten to put the remainder in, is my best guess. Had it been a guest's change, it strikes me as odd they would not have noticed being shorted nearly $40. Anyway, the discrepancy has been set aside and I noted here. Hopefully there is something somewhere I'm not seeing and it'll make sense if someone else is taking a look. - IP

Someone left a poster they won at Trivia behind. I left it in the office. - IP

Juan was awesome and got our lowboy door back on its tracks in Trees Lounge. I tried to fix the one downstairs at Lobby bar but am not confident I will make it better, so I added it to maintenance doc. -LB
