Tuesday 01.14.25 Gus/Jenn/Lauren/Ian
Manager Communication:
Gus, Jenn and Lauren were all here when I got in and everything was smooth and steady. Aside from the very sold Popeye screening, everything was relatively chill tonight. Decent bar crowd around dinner time. - IP
BAR Staff Observations:
Tevon and Greg made a great pair tonight! The Popeye screening brought a really great crowd to Trees before and after the showing. The service pass never got too insane, but when the tickets started flying, Greg was great about shifting gears from front facing to service. The lobby was very relaxed this evening, and Bryan was easily able to fly the boat solo.

FOH Staff Observations:
Sabrina was really awesome tonight. Every time there was a second that I had to run some glassware or run a tray, she was there already taking care of it. Thanks!! - IP
Hiring/Training:
Greg trained the Trees close with Tevon tonight. He did a bang up job this evening (see above) and I think once the muscle memory kicks in, he's gonna fit in right as rain. I concur with Tevon that he could afford to slow down a tick (an extremely common hurdle most new hires face here). Once he trusts that we can always make the drinks faster than servers can run them, and that it's okay if the tickets pile up bit in order to serve a front facing guest, I think the flow will naturally fall in step. I don't anticipate that taking too long - he definitely knows what he's doing and will adapt. - IP
Special Events?
Popeye 35mm screening. Really well sold - good crowd, lots of hanging out at Trees before and after. - IP

Maintenance: I replaced both sets of flanges on the bubblers and dated them on the side of the machine so we can see how often we need to replace them. When we get more of the clear storage bins I will put all of those parts together in a box and label it. -LB

I took down the Christmas lights from Connie so she can grow tall and strong. I also watered her. I left the Christmas lights on the stairs and mezz for ambiance, Matthew you left before I could confirm that was okay, just lmk if not.-LB
Bubblers at both bars are fully operational. Am going to take a look at the frozens tomorrow and make sure all the fiddly bits are fiddling. - IP
