Manager Communication:  Great day for sussing it all out. Bar manager meeting was great, we all figured out getting on the same page and how to give bar staff the information they want when anything changes. -LB
Ian had a great idea for the openers to shake the margarita keg, then run the lines until it is not clear, then pour the separated marg back into the keg. I think this makes sense.-LB
I forgot a note last night that someone put dirty glasses in a brown rack which we traditionally use only for water cups, so if there was a new server or runner last night please lmk. Also connected to this, if there is one today, a dirty rack was put in Trees lounge where clean glassware goes.-LB

Seconded re: the meeting! Was great to touch base and get on track. Trivia was great, Lauren did a bunch of prep and did some R&D while the team totally crushed trivia. I will put more about this in the maintenance section, but up front I want to relay that I took the cold brew off of the line and drained what was left in it at the end of the night because the tap in Lobby bar was leaking steadily while Patrick was closing. - IP

BAR Staff Observations: Darius is great just taking it all down when everyone is busy doing manager stuff on Tuesday. -LB
Bryan is kicking ass serving during trivia. Tevon and Ian helped deliver. I jumped behind the bar and helped with service tickets for the pre-trivia rush.-LB

Brian kicked major ass on the trivia floor tonight. Did an absolutely great job and jumped right in, never having done it before. Tevon and Darius were excellent behind the bar as usual - and Patrick and Jeshua held it down in the lobby. Very smooth Trivia - great start to the new year! - IP

Hiring/Training: Gus hired a new bartender named Greg Collins, he will be training later this week.-LB

Sick Leave/ Call outs: 
Lydia emailed myself and Gus this morning to let us know that she was too sick to come in for her closing Lobby shift this evening.  Patrick was able to pick it up, so we were still able to run service with five bartenders all day. JH

Special Events? 
PSP will be having their usual hangout at Trees Lounge on Friday, January 24th.  I have updated the events calendar. JH

Prep List: I made a big old fashioned, razz cacao, more cacao water, more tarragon gin, elphaba, spirit of comfort. Ian batched a Negroni keg-LB
Will need to batch more Elphaba tomorrow, probably good for tonight, but there is enough tarragon gin for two full batches in the walk-in.-LB

Over/Short on Banks:
Lobby bar was $5 short. - IP

Pay Outs:
$1800 - 8600 Repairs - IP

Lost & Found?:
Found a keychain fob with a logo that says "ROCK" on the floor of Trees during Trivia. I labeled it and left it on the desk in front of the MOD computer in the office. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: T. Edwards came. 

Maintenance:  I do think we need to fix or replace the doors on the lowboy towards the bathrooms in Trees Lounge. They don't slide easily, they don't close on their own. I caught the door open today when Darius was working. And after helping them out for trivia it seems like a critical component for speed back there.-LB

As mentioned above, the nitro tap for the cold brew line is leaking considerably in lobby bar. I am in tomorrow morning and will take a look - but as of this moment, and tomorrow morning - the cold brew has been taken off the line momentarily in order to prevent more leakage and lost product. - IP

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
