Manager Communication: Wow. What a fun day to be alive!!! Morale has been cohesive today.  Everyone is doing their best to focus on work. -LB  

Customer Comments:  A woman in theater 4 came down twice because her order was taking too long. I comped her popcorn. Daniella decided it was good to slow her down based on her intoxication level and the customer was satisfied once she had a drink in hand.  She was also amusingly upset that we don't have Chardonnay, justifying her need to get two Tito's and soda.  -LB

BAR Staff Observations: As I view things through a vegetarian's lens, I have noticed the vegan option being cleaned out of family meal pretty early on if there is a note we can get to kitchen.  Just want to make sure staff has enough energy in their tank for the night.-LB   

As per our bar meeting yesterday using discretion to let staff not clean frozen machines. Gabrielle had a pretty busy push today and closing alone was a lot. I told her to leave the bubblers on and that she could just clean one frozen unit tonight. -LB

Gabrielle and I could not locate upstairs hose, so I borrowed the hose from Lobby bar. Also, the tecate cans were foaming up a lot when opened for service, very odd.-LB 


FOH Staff Observations: I think every front facing employee did exceptionally well today dealing with some weird customers on a very somber day for all.  -LB

So noticed something when Anthony had a check take their merchant and customer copy, Daniella says we can't autograt 20% without the original. I think we need to change the language on the menu so it is understood 20%will be added without an authorization slip. If enough people know this loophole they may tend to leave with both copies. I hate to see money come out of the servers' tip pool for such a silly reason, if there is anything I can do to try and rectify this protocol. -LB


Special Events? Seven Samurai is gonna rock!! Bar team cranked it out-LB  
86ed coffee after we made a second carafe and Jeshua had closed Lobby bar. Customer was trying to order one at 11:45, we offered the alternatives but it was fine. -LB

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Must remind the closers coming in to brew two new carafes of coffee. -LB

Prep List: Batched a Tornado Wrangler, seems people want to be able to wrangle a win today.-LB

R&D comp checks: I tried some of the Luxardo cherry liqueur in the cherry limeade and it was yummy.

Over/Short on Banks: Lobby bar is short due to payout but not incorrect.

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
