Manager Communication:
Full house today! Was great to chat and confer about the upcoming busy schedule. Feeling good about glassware levels/backups and excited to get in the thick of it soon! - IP
Customer Comments: A customer in Lobby asked to speak to a manager. They had water spilled on their coat during the 7 o'clock time frame of A Real Pain. They were really sweet about it. I apologized and was glad it wasn't something worse as it was a nice coat. I offered them passes and they were happy. They noted how much they love Nitehawk. -LB

I informed a guest sitting underneath the projection screen in Trees that we were setting up for Trivia and politely asked him to move to another table in the next half hour or so. The guest was visibly affronted and asked what time Trivia started - I explained that even though trivia was still not set to begin for another hour, guests had already started arriving, so we needed to make sure the floor was set. He was again incredulous, and I let it go and told him not to worry about it and sit there as long as he wanted, just that he'd have to move by 7:45. He eventually moved to the bar, where he asked to speak to a manager. Jenn spoke with him, and he expressed he felt like asking him to move was disrespectful. Bar team informed me this guest comes in to happy hour often and is consistently grumpy and discontent, so this adds up. - IP

Kicked a token to Bryan and Patrick for dealing with an extensive bar set up today post-deep clean.-LB
Patrick and Bryan are studs. Bryan worked all the way through the trivia close, and I swung Patrick upstairs to help with the double whammy of Trivia and Firewalk with Me. Maya crushed it on the floor as always, Tevon was the steady calm behind the bar we always need and Lydia was a champ in the lobby. Patrick also stuck it out to make sure the trivia team felt ready to handle the close. - IP

Fire walk with me/ Trivia DOUBLE FEATURE - and quite a feature it was! Trivia was decked all the way out tonight - big crowd who got there early and were very hungry, thirsty and well behaved to boot! We didn't have too much of a traffic jam with the Firewalk with Me guests grabbing drinks at a fully packed Trivia - and Patrick being upstairs to help with the service pass was grand. As expected, went through a LOT of Firewalk. All in all, a great evening! - IP

A pair of mint-green Skullcandy wireless earbuds was left in the lobby last night labeled "LYDIA" but they informed me the earbuds do not belong to them. I left them on the desk in the office. - IP

Maintenance: Putting in an order for some sink strainers as the bar prep sink is probably not draining well since there are none on any sinks, will also add green goblin to this. -LB

When Lydia went to close the lobby gate, the darn thing wouldn't come down! I pulled the cover off the switch but didn't see anything of note. I then checked all the breaker boxes to make sure it wasn't something as simple as that, but my untrained eye didn't see anything that had flipped. Leaving the gate up tonight - will try to get more into it tomorrow morning. - IP
