Manager Communication: 

I tried getting my first N/A order together. Will cross check with Jenn when she is in to get me fully launched. -LB

Pretty decent dinner round for a Thursday, with plenty of the smaller theaters selling really well, and Anora still cracking 100 in Th1.  ST&B rounded out the night, and everything was pretty quiet after that theater did last call. Had a few folks from ST&B hang out at Trees for a bit, but they were all gone by the time the last movie let out.  JH

Customer Comments: 

Had a group of five people up on the Mezz playing pool, and when Natasha went up to bus she saw they had food and drinks from Chipotle.  She asked whose it was, and they all denied it was theirs (even though it was at a table with all of their stuff), as they were playing pool, so she called for a manager.  I asked again whose food it was, they all denied it was theirs, and they had not ordered anything since they arrived, so I told them all they had to wrap it up for the night.  Dwight came with me to the Mezz to make sure they were on their way, and they left without further issue. JH

Erika and Rebecca had a guest in their last round Th3 screening who asked for a Negroni with light ice and was very upset that the glass was not full.  They explained that the pour remained the same, regardless of ice amount, but she was fairly dismissive of them.  They looped me in, and since the movie was still going on, I advised them that if she said anything further to let her know she could either step into the hallway and speak to the bar manager, or she could do so once the movie ended.  She declined the opportunity. JH

BAR Staff Observations: 

The bar staff has been mentioning that the bottles in the well fall over, so I filled out the wells with mostly community vodka and some other back ups. -LB

Once dinner round had settled, I was able to get both openers out of here.  Jeshua held down Lobby, and Matthew and Natasha crushed ST&B service. JH

Sick Leave/ Call outs: 

Natasha left a little early this evening as she was not feeling very well.  I am opening tomorrow morning, so I told her to just give me a text and let me know how she is feeling tomorrow.  At this point, she is not anticipating needing a sick day tomorrow. JH

Special Events? 

ST&B went smoothly, and ran without any issue.  We will probably need to re-up some batch cocktails for the next time they're here, but we were fine with product levels for tonight. JH

Pay Outs: 

27 for Juan. I may have closed the drawer. Reopened it to 273 I think, unsure if this will be annoying later, but we had not done any sales. Receipts are with money bag. -LB

In regards to the above note, as we did not get talk about it before Lauren left, the drawer was closed after the first Pay Out.  In the future, do not attach the drawer for either bar at anything other than 0.00, just pass on the note to closing managers and they will sort the drawer at the end of the night.  Keeping the bank count consistent just helps make the tricky math a bit smoother. JH (Trees drop/bank were fine at the end of the night, and I walked James through the journey.)

$18.59 for milk for ST&B, kitchen only had five quarts in the walk-in so had to bulk up the stock. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 

Southern came. 18th Ward picked up two empties.-LB

Still waiting on Evil Twin from 12%.  Gus reached out to our rep to follow up on the order's whereabouts, and hopefully it arrives tomorrow. JH

Baldor & US Foods arriving tomorrow. JH

Maintenance: 

I cleaned the coffee machine and coffee grinder. I will implement some new protocols to keep the machine less gunky.  I also measured out the correct serving of beans for both brew cycles and labeled the container, this should improve the coffee at large and reduce grounds in carafe. -LB
